Description
I am Patrick, a retired anthropologist and recently I'm living near the mont saint Michel (70 km) close to the sea.
We are at 3 hours from Paris and 1 hour from Rennes and Caen by direct train.
The garden has a surface of 4500 square meters. There are many trees and I'm always planting more. When I bought this property, 4 years ago, my aim was to be selfsuficient in food. So I made a vegetable garden that provides what I need. I have also a few chiken for eggs and meat and a lot of fruits. But i'm not completely self sufficient.
A large part of the garden is occupied with flowers.
I'm also renting a room in my house that need to be cleaned.
Most of the time I live alone. My wife is Brazilian and works in her country.
I have two daughters and 4 grand children that I met every month.
I am an active member of an association who promotes humanist values and organic agriculture.
I'm used to spend the beginning of the year in Brazil and to come back home around March15th.
The tasks I plan depends on the skills of the workawayers. There is nothing very technical but the presence of people I can exchange with on multiple topics makes the life richer.
During the spare time we can visit the surroundings and go to the beach to pick up seafood, swim etc. depending on the season.
I want to make clear that I am committed to the principles of workaway based on cultural and service exchange. I consider the workawayers above all as friends I offer the best conditions of hospitality to in exchange for their help.

Accommodation
In the house there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Every workawayer has his private bedroom. I love cooking, I'm not VG.

There is a railway station in Granville that is at three hours from Paris.
There is also a station at Coutances, 5 km from my house, connected with Rennes and Caen.
