I am located on a beautiful, tranquil beachfront on two and a half acres on the south Pacific coast of Guatemala .
Seeking passionate volunteers to assist in beachfront home maintenance, food growing and animal care.
Location: Close to El Paraíso, Guatemala.
Opportunity: Join me on my two and a half acres of beachfront land. I'm seeking enthusiastic and eco-conscious volunteers to help me maintain my home and contribute to vital conservation efforts.

It's a very quiet tranquil location with local Guatemalans that can share their knowledge with different expertise. I've had people work with me that are masons, carpenters, landscapers and fishermen. This is a perfect environment to practice your Spanish with friendly locals who are eager to help. In turn, many are interested in learning English, allowing for a mutual exchange and benefits.
* In nesting season, turtle conservation efforts would be appreciated by the local man working on this project. (e.g., monitoring nesting sites, participating in beach cleanups).
Help
I’m looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with various tasks around my property. The help may vary, with some days being quieter and others involving specific projects. I do have two swimming pools that need to have some maintenance done, I would also like help maintaining the garden and outdoor spaces and light cleaning and upkeep of living areas. Anybody with masonry, concrete, carpentry experience would be wonderful. Also looking for somebody with physical therapy experience, yoga experience, and or nutrition experience. I have the time I need some direction and motivation to help myself out.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with minor home repairs and upkeep around the house.
* Light housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry).
* General help in the vegetable garden and basic landscaping.
* Caring for and running the dogs.
* Let me know your skill set and at times, I can find things specific to this, for you to do.
I am also considering raising tilapia and would like anybody who has fish experience to apply. Raising fish would help the local people here be sustainable and feed them. Anybody with Horticulture experience also I have planted 100 plantain trees 30 almond trees 30 coconut trees and more coming on the way, all for harvesting at some point to help myself and the local people here with food. With a help of a work aware I also started small garden in hopes of showing people they can grow their own food. Hoping to expand my own garden as well.

Accommodation
I have two dedicated Work Away bedrooms available with a fully equipped communal kitchen and private bathroom. I also have another house on the beach with one open bedroom terrace, bathroom and small kitchen so either one may be available at different times.

With time off helpers can explore guatemala. It is a beautiful, amazing country. Mountains, volcanoes, artisans, historic places,. Transportation is available from here to other places by bus and I have a vehicle if we were to go someplace together.
