Description
My name is Gabriel, and I run the project in the beaultiful Mata Atlantica Rainforest, in Morretes-PR.
Our project is situated on a big land, and most of the work we do here is related with Syntropic Farming and Agroforesty. The land is composed of 40 hectares of paddocks, which we are re-foresting with our highly productive systems; and over 100 hectares of secondary forest. Our income comes mainly from our crops, and thats what keeps the project runing.
Here we produce everything Organicly and strive for always feeding our Soil with life and nutrients, therefore the food we harvest is extremely rich and nutritive.
We are starting to plant in early 2025, and our goal is to have over 30 productive hectares by 2028. The main financial crops we work with are Cacao, Açai, Bananas, many varieties of tropical native fruits, Cassava, Tumeric, Ginger and Timber, among many other crops that we produce in smaler scale.
I strongly believe that Agroforesty Systems are a powerful way to revert climate change while producing high quality food for our species, and valuing the local fauna and flora, thats why I do what I do.
We are located in a small rural town named Morreres, in the state of Paraná, it's a very beaultiful place, with a lot of jungle, amazing mountains, rivers and waterfalls. It's an 1 hour drive from Curitiba to get here. From the land to the town center is about 6km, and you can find everything there, as its also a quite touristic place that attracts nature lovers from all over the world. Also, its situated just a little above sea level, and about 40 minutes drive to the closest beach. The climate here is tropical and umid, gets quite warm in the summer, with temperatures reaching over 30°C in some days. Winters can get a bit chilly, specially at night, but its unusual for it to be colder then 12°C.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The jungle in Morretes is very vibrant and theres lots of waterfalls, mountains and rivers to explore. Also there's often a culture scene going on on weekends at the town center if that's your thing. I am always keen for some nature exploring when not working. Also, here we are always very happy to share what we know and even happier to learn from other's what they can teach us.
Help
We are looking for pro active people that are interested in working the land. As we are in the inicial stage of the project, the main help we'd like is with preparing the Soil, planting and harvesting crops. We usually work together as a team, and are happy to share all the knowledge we have about Agroforesty Systems.

Indeed we had a great time on his farm: the activities to do are interesting, and swimming in the river is always pleasant after work!
The agroforestry project is exciting, Gabriel took the time to explain everything to us and discusses regularly with us.
