Hello! My name is Lauren and I look forward to meeting you.

I've temporarily left my career back in Australia and plan to spend the rest of the year travelling LATAM. My goal is to experience what life is like for people in different cultures.

I have done a number of Worksways before - primarily helping on farmsor at airbnbs, and building websites. I am happy to do what work needs to be done and to try new things.

I have been working in the Aboriginal sector as a consultant and want to continue to learn about different cultures and connect with communities across the world. I have Aboriginal heritage myself so I can teach you about this.

I can speak enough spanish to have a conversation, however my confidence has dropped so my fluency isn't its best. I would love to build these skills up again as it's hard to find people in Australia to practice with.

I have worked in customer service my whole life and am comfortable interacting with people from many walks of life.
Recently I've learnt a lot about eCommerce and how to create a functioning website (including plugins, customization, etc). I am comfortable and patient teaching people how to work applications and relevant websites.
I have also been involved in mentoring and tutoring both Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth.
While I am not qualified with any trade, the best thing I can bring is my intrigue for other ways of living, and am excited at the prospect of maybe finding a new passion of mine somewhere along the way.
