Hi! I am Hiro from Japan.

I am currently a student at Tufts University Fletcher School, studying international affairs to make the world peace!
During summer break, I would like to challenge work in the US and experience what I don't know.
I have an outgoing and talkative personality.
I like playing soccer, watching movies (and soccer!), cooking Japanese food (it's hard to get materials though..) and enjoying activities in nature.

I would appreciate it if you talk with me in English. I do want to practice more!

I also worked in sales before. I am proficient in high school-level mathematics.

I also have experience in organizing events. This experience helped me to learn how to manage people, systems, and various tasks.

I escaped from this place after 1 week stay though I was supposed to stay more than 2 weeks.
I'm sorry for the host but let me tell you why.

1. Don't expect you can learn English here. This is one of the biggest disinformation in the profile. He only teaches you English when he needs to tell you the name of tools.

2. Disrespectful behavior was… read more the major reason I left here. I felt so disrespected when I heard that he believes many people visit him only for free accommodation and foods. I was treated as if I am a servant. After he ordered me something outside, mostly, he goes back his house and take a rest. I was asked to pick up what he dropped. He use you anytime for any detailed reasons.

3. He changes what he said so easily. I started my work at 7:30 am and ended at 5:00 pm(so almost 9 hours!) on averages even though working time is 5 hours a day in his profile. Also, he made me work 6 days a week that’s also different from what’s written.

You are asked to pay $25 for picking up(there is no uber or Lyft.) It takes an hour to get to his place from the nearest bus stop so you have to pay. However, when I asked him to leave his place, he forced me to pay $50 for one way so I had to pay $100 at the end of the day. He told me that I had to get out of his house if I don't pay but there no places I could go and it was late night.

He suddenly rejected accepting my friend. My friend already booked flight and there was no refund. He told me that's because my friend didn't text him well.

4. Foods and house environment are the minimum. He didn't give me a room. I was staying underneath a roof without a door and there were no A/C and I was not allowed to open windows.

You will use a dirty bathroom and toilets which are set in a garage and have few privacy. Host use their clean bathroom.

Their food is not terrible but not the best. I didn't have an option to get foods by my self because stores are too far. I don’t want to say this but he tries to save money anytime. That’s also a reason he asked me not to use napkins though he and his wife use them.

You are allowed to use laundry once a week. He kindly gives you one towel and one handkerchief.

5.#redacted text#. After I told him I want to leave before I finish my stay, he changed his attitude and say bad words towards me and my friend even he hadn't met my friend. I couldn't say anything honestly because he is dominant person. Finally I could write truth here.

He told me that people didn’t enjoy their stay don’t leave feedbacks. I strongly urge you to think twice before you book a flight.✈️
