Hi there! 👋

I’m Runah, an adventurous soul with a love for creativity, collaboration, and essentially any type of adventure. What motivates me most is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, sharing skills and memories along the way.

Happiness for me often comes from the simple things: a sunrise hike, being in the middle of nature, learning something new, or seeing a project come to life. I have a background in design and construction (my career is in project management for commercial architecture), but what I enjoy most is getting hands-on and contributing in practical ways... whether it’s helping with renovations, brainstorming creative ideas, or even learning new skills like gardening or cooking. I absolutely love animals and being active as much as possible.

I believe in leaving places better than I found them, and I’m excited to meet hosts who share that same passion for making a positive impact. I’m hardworking, flexible, and always up for a challenge. Plus, I never say no to a cup of tea and a good chat!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Hi! I’m Runah, originally from the UK and left my life back at home to explore the world, meet new people and spend more time in nature. I like staying active and getting involved with pretty much any task. Always keen to learn new skills and I’m a hardworker!

I have a genuine love for animals and am happy to help with feeding, walking, or simply spending time with pets. Currently missing my pets back at home a lot so any time spent with animals is a day spent well. I enjoy creative projects and community-based activities that bring people together. Any chance to meet new people and make connections and I’ll jump in. Other than that, I can be useful cleaning, farmwork, taking care of kids, general maintenence,
organising, anything to be honest!

On the technical side, I’m good with Microsoft Office and can help with administrative tasks or project coordination if needed.

I’m always ready to dive into new experiences and I’m looking forward to see what workaway adventures will come my way 😊

In my free time, I enjoy a mix of activities. Mainly active or creative!

Reading… I enjoy getting lost in a good book or writing.
Music and Events… I love live music and going to anything music related.. jazz club, sofar sounds, a concert, orchestra, poetry nights, small gigs, spontaneous karaoke.. any of it.
Spending Time Outdoors… Hiking, exploring the countryside, or just being in nature, I feel happiest outside.
Trying New Foods: I love exploring different cuisines and discovering new flavors.
Volunteering and Giving Back… Helping out in the community or being part of a cause that makes a difference where I can.
Meeting new people… Whether it’s over a shared meal, a game, or just chatting and getting to know people.

I’m always open to new experiences and enjoy contributing to things that bring people together or create a positive impact.
