Hey, cool that we have our first contact! My name is Loek, and I’m born in the Netherlands! Since 2022 I started my travel chapter. Traveled around in SE Asia, hitchhiked across indonesia and India and got a job in Australia, somewhere in the outback on a cattle farm (360km away from nearest town)! It was amazing!!

After gaining many experiences and travel knowledge, I became a group leader for group trips in Indonesia. Leading groups up to 22 people around, and making sure that the itinerary was running smoothly and everyone had a greaaaat time!

After a few months I decided to start my own travel company, organizing adventurous and sport related trips across the world! Organized in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and soon Spain!

Meanwhile doing so, I’m traveling around, meeting new people and gaining new expierinces! I love to meet strangers, talk about life, share stories, and have fun!!

Rather 1000 experiences than a 1000 possessions!!!

Workaway is a bridge for me to exchange cultures and learn from each other! Would love to experience a wide range of life in my life.

Over the years, I’ve also developed leadership – i guided tours in Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnama and India as a group leader, I’ve managed teams, planned activities, and kept everything running smoothly on the go.

I’ve spent a lot of time in gardening and farm work, so being outside and connecting with nature is definitely my thing.

On the technical side, I graduated in Technical Engineering. I’ve also gained experience in web design, building websites that are functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
