Hey, my name is Fynn, I'm 30 years old and I'm from Münster, Germany. I'm a calm guy who likes to be around other people and spend a lot of time with friends. In Germany I work as a lawyer and therefore spend a lot of time in the office. I grew up in a house with a garden and two dogs right next to a farm. In the meantime, we also had chickens and sheep ourselves, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with these animals. So I would definitely like to work with animals again! I also love nature, which I get to see far too little of in my everyday life. So I would love to spend a lot of time outside and enjoy the fresh air. In my free time I also do a lot of sport (especially fitness and soccer) and like to go fishing. I also enjoy cooking (although not professionally) and watching movies and series. I also like table tennis, mini golf, darts and good books, but I'm more of a beginner in these areas.

I will be changing employers in the summer and therefore have some time I would like to spend improving my English. I have had English at school and consume a lot of English speaking culture, but my language level is a bit rusty so I am very interested in having a lot of personal contact and language exchange. I am sure that I will then quickly get used to the English language. I currently have about a B2 level.

I have no problem working outside in all weathers and I'm not afraid to get dirty. However, I'm not a talented handyman so I don't have any particular experience or expertise. I'm fit and like to get stuck in, so I'm definitely open to physical work. I would prefer to work with animals, but general gardening or housekeeping is also fine for me. I haven't had my own garden since I moved out when I was 18, but I would like to have my own garden again in a few years and would of course be happy to learn new things about it.

I would like my hosts to integrate me into their lives and not just see me as a worker. I am very interested in cultural exchange and would like to immerse myself in Canadian life. I can be on my own sometimes and go on excursions or fishing, but I would also like to spend a lot of time together, have meals together and perhaps do things together in addition to work.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a sporty guy who was raised next to a farm. When I was a child, I owned two sheep, and we had two dogs, so I am quite familiar with animals. I am not a good handyperson at all, but I can help in the garden or do some physical work. I have a driver's license in Germany, so I am able to drive a car in Canada if required. I also like cooking and am open to helping or working in the kitchen.
