Our stay with Athir was truly amazing! From the very beginning he made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of — something that was especially important for us as two solo female travellers. He went out of his way to create a welcoming environment and we never once felt uneasy or out of place. Life at the camp is very free and flexible, with plenty of free time to enjoy the surroundings, relax, or explore. Athir strikes the perfect balance between offering guidance and giving you independence, which made the whole experience feel natural and stress-free. Beyond being a thoughtful and responsible host, he is also a kind and fun person to spend time with. We left with beautiful memories, tons of learnings and a deep appreciation for his generosity and care. 3aishshek for the amazing experience Athir!!!

After spending a month with Giulia and Martin, I can honestly say it was the most amazing experience! They welcomed me into their little family and from the first day I was already so comfortable. Giulia is such a beautiful soul she goes above and beyond every day and is always so positive and ensuring that I was always happy - everyday she would send me ideas and links of things to explore in the wonderful city that is Palermo. Martin is the sweetest boy, he is very shy at first however he will become comfortable with you! He is so curious and funny. He loves to play board games, play with toys and loves to be included! He is a one of a kind. You pick Martin up from school at 2:30 each day Monday-Friday and Giulia will return at 4:30 most evenings, more often then not Giulia would suggest us to go do activities together and I would highly recommend!!! I would have never seen the amazing things and got to experience Palermo the authentic way. I would wash up which takes about 5 minutes after meals and I would vacuumed and mop 2/3 times a week. It is very easy. I am so grateful for this month and the beautiful connection I've made with this family ( and MIM 🐈‍⬛🥰 ) . Everyone around them all of her friends and family you will meet are all so beautiful, kind and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back to visit! I am leaving Palermo with a full heart and a full tummy ❤️❤️

I'm excited to share my exceptional experience here. This experience exceeded all my expectations and left a lasting mark on me. I had the honor of spending ten weeks at the park. This amazing place, together with the extraordinary people I met there, changed the way I see the world. They broke down my barriers, prejudices, and limitations! They made me believe that anything is possible! David, Ann-Noel, and their sons Tom and Edward, as well as the other volunteers – Alex, John, Warren, and Edward – all of these wonderful people created a friendly, warm atmosphere where work passed effortlessly, interwoven with tea breaks, cookies, coffee, and relaxed conversations. The spirit of mutual help and care built a close-knit community of people with very different interests, talents, and experiences. I also had the chance to enjoy brilliant concerts organized at the park and to meet many fascinating visitors and guests of the estate. David delighted us as well with his piano and organ performances. There are several valuable of each in the house, along with harpsichords. The place and the surrounding nature are truly magical. The views are astonishing. The people are incredible. Mabel and Lily – the park’s two beloved dogs – are the smartest dogs I’ve ever met, at least for me. David and Ann-Noel genuinely care that all volunteers feel well. They give us complete freedom in the way we express ourselves and work. They truly want us, the volunteers, to feel comfortable and at peace, and they do everything possible to provide us with security, warmth, and a welcoming atmosphere. We had the pleasure of getting to know a truly special young man — polite, respectful, and always willing to help. He stands out for his kindness and his natural inclination to assist others, never hesitating to lend a hand. He is a reliable, attentive, and caring person, capable of creating a positive and peaceful atmosphere around him. His helpfulness and integrity make him a truly admirable person.

Naomi, Abigail, Ben, Arshan, Charles, 160 animals and other friends of theirs showed us nothing but kindness. We planned on staying a week but extended for almost 2 months. So many great things to say about our experience with this lovely and growing family. To keep it short you would be lucky to have a chance to visit sweet creek ranch if you love animals, learning new things, helping a community, sharing meals and stories and above all have a kind and happy attitude! We can now say we have family in Oregon:) Thank you all💗

Wakako and Haruma were so much fun! They immediately fit in, even with dogs overwhelming them upon arrival. :) They were such hard and joyful helpers around the ranch. Having them both here was a highlight of our summer! Their enthusiasm for learning, seeing and tasting new things was really refreshing to be around.

We enjoyed having Thomas here for a few days as we didn't quite know what to expect when we met him off the bus Wednesday evening and he departed early Monday morning as planned. He gave us some good help on Thursday and Saturday as we tidied the garden for Winter. He explored town and surrounding areas on Friday and visited the museum and cycled the Greenway on Sunday. We brought him on a road trip on Saturday to see more of the countryside. He helped trim hedges, sweep up and general tasks like that. We enjoyed hearing all about his life as a Hindu monk he is very interesting and likes to talk a lot. Good luck Thomas on your travels!

Zoé and Léon were two very beautiful beings, they were super considerate and did any tasks that came up with dedication and commitment. I enjoyed the encounters we had and would strongly recommend them to every host. I experienced both as easy to talk to, laid back but happy to work and I was able to leave them with tasks without having to check on them. They left their space super clean and were just a loving couple.

Naomi stayed with us during the summer holidays, a time when the children are out of school, so right from the start, she spent many hours alone with Raffaele while I was at work. She always managed to entertain him by playing, drawing, going for walks, and so much more, without ever calling me for help. Raffaele connected with her right away and loved spending time with her. It was wonderful to host such a kind, polite, and friendly girl :) We'll be visiting you soon in California!!! Thank you for everything!

The help that Alex gave was invaluable. He was the soul of the place giving the best experiences to our guests and fulfilling all his duties with responsibility and love!

We enjoyed Ronja’s loving and kind energy, she enriched us with her mind blowing mindfulness and empathy, was not only reliable but thinking ahead and actually sources consent based and super clear spaces. On top of that Ronja was super appreciative and interested as well as happy to share and open up where it fits. Ronja was an absolute blessing. You’d be lucky to get to know her if you ever get the chance. Thanks Ronja, come back any time you’d like!

Yuto and Nagisa were with me for 10 days. They shared the experience and accomodation with three other, older workawayers. One word sums up our time together - Joy! What incredibly lovely guys these are. They were willing to tackle anything asked of them. Loved the area, the doggies, trying new foods and experiencing their first trip in Europe. Very clean and tidy, polite, helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. I would no hesitation in recommending them to any future hosts.

We stayed here for about a month and it was amazing! It was our first workaway experience and it went really well. The island is beautiful and if you're there you should definitely go hiking and see famous touristic locations like Sete Cidades or Salto do Prego. Thomas (host) is a really nice person and a great cook ;) In the month we stayed here we had a lot of fun and we will definitely miss this place. PS: The work can be quite hard so be aware hahah XD

Teeny weeny lemon squeezy is an absolute delight of a lady and if she wants to help you out you would be a fool to say no... Gardening goddess is an understatement, child's best friend, again an understatement, superb, intelligent, wonderful company, again an understatement... I could just keep going on and on. Come back Teeny we have a kitten for Leon to play with ;) xxx I promise no more laying tarmac for the kids ;)

This was our first Workaway experience. Living in the mountains was a wonderful experience, so peaceful. For almost three weeks, my friend and I were completely disconnected: no Wi-Fi, no noise, just nature and the horses. Janko is a very friendly man, always there when you need him, he's trustworthy. We highly recommend this place if you enjoy creativity and peace and quiet. And finally, never forget: Danas Vodka Sutra Voda !!!

I had a wonderful time at this chool. For almost a month, I was able to take part. The family welcomed us warmly and took great care of us. Together with another volunteer, we were free to use bicycles after school. At lunchtime, there was delicious food from the canteen, and in the evenings we could choose something to order, which was then delivered. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated in the treehouse. Most of the time, I joined Janet and Mrs. Jirakan in class. They are both incredibly kind! Pia and Janet were also very sweet, and we had a lot of fun together. Mrs. Clark was another great contact person who was always there to support us. The children were all very warm-hearted, super sweet, and eager to learn. I already miss them all so much! Even when I got sick during the last few days, I was taken care of. The manager and the principal were always there to help and support whenever something came up. It was a wonderful time, and I plan to return. I can only highly recommend it!!

What a special workaway! This has been the highlight so far of our year long trip in Canada. Haida Gwaii is such a special place to be, and we got to spend 2 months working at the glamping site which itself is beautiful. The work is straightforward, varying between housekeeping, breakfast set-ups, and check-ins - with a little bit of hot-tub maintenance thrown in. We usually worked between 35-40 hours a week during the peak of the season, which was exactly as explained to us and still left plenty of time to do our own thing after work and on our days off. We had use of a staff car so could explore lots of Haida Gwaii during our time off. Alana and Nicole were both kind and welcoming, whilst day to day managing of the site was done by Amy, who was amazing to work with and always made sure we were comfortable and happy with our work. Steve and Bettina, the local staff, were also lovely and a joy to work with! The trailer we stayed in was a great size and had everything we needed, with additional bathroom and shower facilities also located in a building 20m away. We also had use of the glamping facilities when not in use by guests, which was a great perk (the pizza oven especially)! Tlell is fairly remote, so this workaway is suited for people who are happy keeping themselves busy, enjoying beach walks and spectacular nature and wildlife. We absolutely loved our time here and it went by way too fast - we couldn't recommend it enough and may very well be back in the future! P.S. - We highly recommend taking the inside passage ferry on route to Haida Gwaii, an incredible experience we never imagined getting - seeing countless whales and other sea life, as well as stunning coastal mountains and forest!

Summer is such a wonderful person and a great volunteer — easy-going, kind, and always ready to help wherever and whenever it was needed. We really enjoyed her support and her company. She helped us in the kitchen, the garden, and with housekeeping, always bringing a positive spirit. During the day she was hardworking, and in the evenings she was great fun to be around — whether playing a board game or sharing a cozy chat by the fire.

We’re stayed one week here and happy to meet everyone the staff is so nice even we don’t know how to speak Spanish. We helped a farm and the kitchen, and also some painting job in the cabin. In this ranch, you have to decide what you want to do, and there are no clear instructions, but It's also become very flexible, it’s suitable for people with their ideas to help. when we first get there, the situation of the volunteer house is very bad, there are dirty and mo, even without electricity, but fortunately there is water. Despite this, we cleaned it up with other volunteers and tried to make it better. We opened all the window to let the sunlight in. Anyway, I really enjoy being with all the people here, especially HAN, who shared a lot of knowledge about horses with us. Thank you all for being here!
