  Hello everyone!
  
  We are Giulia and Martin and we live in a beautiful and cosy house in Palermo, 3 km from the city center.
  
  I’m 40 years old, I teach arts and yoga for kids at a kindergarden and I am a happy mum and passionate about good food, I am a cheese lover and a good cook of traditional Sicilian food. I am also a very calm and slow person and an idealistic, my favourite legendary character is undoubtedly Robin Hood. My star sign is Taurus and I really feel close to its personality traits. I am very busy at work but I'd really like to have more free time for dedicating myself to theatre labs, clay workshops, ashtanga yoga and arts broadly speaking.
  
  Martin, my son, is a 7 years old fun little boy, he is very enjoyable, kind and sarcastic and he has a lot of passions like bycicle riding, tree climbing and play with LEGO or cars and dinosaurs toys. He is also a little stubborn, meticulous (which I'm not :) and talkative child and often requires a lot of attention when playing.
  
  We also have a sweet black lady cat, Mim. She is often very shy and a loner but, sometimes, she also appreciates to be brushed and cuddled. Her favourite food is tuna and small white fish.
  
  As a family, we pay attention to a healty diet, we are keen on feeding ourself with a kind approach to the world and we try to nurture each single moment with a positive energy. We love spending free time with friends or meeting new people.
  
  The person we will be happy to host should be a responsible and patient girl over 25 years old.
  We really get on very well with sensitive people and animal lovers. We are almost vegetarian (Martin sometimes eats chicken, meat balls or fish fingers), so we would like you to be vegetarian too to share dinners together, also we would be happy to try your recipes if you like cooking.
  We'd like to know a person who is independent and cautious, curious and open minded, active and a sport lover - if you love yoga you'll make me super happy! We like art, street art tours, art exhibitions so we'll be happy if you want to join us.
  
  Last but not the least, I have a pedagogical approach which is halfway between the Montessori and the Waldorf one influenced also by the last results in neuroscience regarding the importance of emotions and feelings in upbringing children. It is important that you are familiar with pedagogical approaches and are happy to share with me the same values.
  I put here a lot of details I order for you to choose us consciously but do not expect to meet a strict and serious family, we are very relaxed, we love laughing and we will make you feel home.

  Ajuda

  We are very busy with work, school, household tasks and outdoor activities so we'd really like to have an English speaker girl with us for improving our english and making our daily schedule easier.
  Normally, in the morning, from Monday to Friday, we go to work and school very early so you'd be free and can do easy household tasks (3 times a week) at your own pace (do the washing up, regular cleaning and tidying up tasks), then from 5 or 6 to 9 pm you should take care of Martin at home while I cook for dinner. After dinner I'd need you to do the washing up and take the rubbish to the dumpster (it is just downstairs). We will be happy to have dinner with you at least 3 evening a week. Weekends are free but you can join us if you like to.
  In the case that Martin is ill, I could ask you to stay with him at home in the morning. In that case, if you help for more than 5 hours that day, the extra hours will be paid.

  Acomodação

  Our home is very spacious, airy, and sunny. It is on the 3rd floor so it is also very quiet. The building has no lift.
  You will have a private and large bedroom with balcony and your own bathroom and will share the kitchen with us as well as the TV room and the terrace. Meals provided.

  From our house you can easly reach the main Cathedral, just 10 minutes walking and the old city. Also there are buses going to Monreale city. Many sharing bycicles and push scooters are available for you to rent.
