Tu profesionalismo, dedicación y la preparación de cada una de tus clases reflejaron siempre tu compromiso y amor por la enseñanza. Con tu voluntad, esfuerzo y entusiasmo lograste mantener a los niños atentos e interesados en cada aprendizaje, dejando en ellos no solo conocimientos de inglés, sino también un ejemplo de entrega y motivación. Para nosotros fue magnífico tenerte en nuestra casa, compartir contigo y aprender de tu forma de trabajar. I felt welcome right from the moment I arrived. The volunteers were friendly and Robert helped set up my tent and was attentive to my enquiries. The daily work isn't very strict and regimented, which allows for more freedom given we've communicated. I had no prior expirence working with earth or doing natural building but I received guidance from others as well as Robert and I managed to feel more comfortable doing the work. There is a dog at the village which takes some using to as it still needs training and a cat that is on the lookout for food, but nothing seriously troubling. It was a great expirence. Next year hopefully I'm coming again with my car. Thanks Robert for the opportunity

From the moment Tessa, a strong, tall, and beautiful woman, stayed as my guest, I felt lovingly accompanied and wonderfully supported with my many, sometimes overwhelming tasks. Whenever I asked her for help, she had usually already done it. She is independent, practically skilled, and never hesitates to lend a hand. One night, she even drove rented film equipment back to Berlin on her own and returned it to the rental company. She really enjoyed cooking and preserving food. The passion for savoring the delicious results was something we gladly shared together. She always approached everything with great care and cleanliness. Thanks to her, my cellar is now filled with delicious treats. Thank you, Tessa – I truly hope you’ll come back soon!

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks with Nirmal and Sid on the most gorgeous piece of land. You can tell the amount of love and passion sid has put into creating his farm and farm stay. I learnt so much from the both of them and Nirmal kindly let me join in on her permaculture course with was very insightful. The work was very hands on and it was amazing learning new skills from the local workers. I had a really nice time here, (and not to mention the food was amazing!!!!)

I spent two wonderful weeks at the home of Benjamin and his lovely family! The whole stay they made me feel like being a part of their family. It was a pleasure to help them out in the garden. The work was not hard, and the schedule was very flexible, which gave me plenty of time to explore the area. Benjamin is not only a great host but also an excellent tour guide ;) I truly enjoyed the time we spent together, whether working, eating, drinking a cup of tea or discovering the surroundings. Thank you so much for everything - I can truly recommend this place!

Christine and Kevin helped me in the garden and I felt such a weight lifted as they helped me tackle some jobs that are so much harder by yourself. They got stuck in even when wet and miserable. So thank you guys very much. They where easy to get along with friendly, accommodating and fun. We really enjoyed their company, help, and learning about Singapore. That was really interesting. We hope they have a super great year here in our beautiful country. Safe travels and that we get to see you again fingers crossed.

I love Sara and Daan, they are great honest people, easy to talk to, responsible and mature! with a big heart!!! Sara helped me incredibly with my computer and Daan (we called him:"The becoming handy man" helped me greatly in the land. I certainly recommend them to everyone!!!!

Aw Jenni. You are a blessing indeed. You reached out to arrive here at the Sanctuary at exactly the same time we needed you!! 🦋 That told us right away this was synchronicity at its best!! Divinely orchestrated!!💐💥✨ We needed a substitute teacher for our daughter and you were perfect! Now Jojo has traveled the world with you learning about continents, countries, cultures first hand from you and the experiences you have lived. 🌎 You are marvelously creative!! Thank you for all your creations with precious stones.... Everytime we see them hanging in the sanctuary we will think of you and send you love ❤️ All the new desserts that Jojo has learned to make from different cultures. We're going to miss you. You became part of our family and I know Jojo 🍁🍂 will miss you so much more. You really became more than a teacher, you were her companion and friend. Thank you for helping us with all the cleaning around the sanctuary. You used your initiative and did what needed to be done - cleaning, tending the garden, watering plants. This was my first workaway experience and it was very good! I loved staying with the animals and helping around. Denise and Vincent are good person that took care of me and always helped if I needed. It was my first time working in a farm and they showed me what a beautiful place it is. There were goats, lamas, sheeps a lot of different chickens and the lovely dogs. I loved playing around with the dogs, feeds the animals, cleaning the baby ducks and a lot more... Thank you Denise for everything, an experience that I'll do again ❤

We had a wonderful time with Shakti. She has created a truly special place that reflects the warmth and kindness she radiates herself. From the very first moment, she made us feel at home. Shakti is a deeply harmonious and caring person who always makes sure that everyone around her feels comfortable. We helped her with all kinds of tasks in and around the house. Marla and Rieke created a mosaic in one of her rooms, while Jonas spent much of our time in Italy working on various handicraft projects. Shakti always cared deeply about our well-being and even let us use her second car, which allowed us to explore many places we might never have discovered otherwise. Shakti holds a very special place in our hearts. She made our stay in Italy an unforgettable experience. Thank you, dear Shakti, for the wonderful time we shared!

Anne & Frank is a very kind couple and are the managers of the place. They are allways open for a chat. The communication was clear and easy (: As well the employes Stephan & Abishek are very symphatik and funny characters haha Bastorf is indeed a perfect start point for bycicling on the beach. I had a pleasant time and hope we will see us again

Sam was with us for one week in September helping to re-landscape the garden and prepare it for winter. He quickly got to grips with the lawnmower, chain saw and strimmer and was clearly happy to continue working outside on our landscaping project even though the weather was cold and drizzling. He is fit and was great at shifting weighty furniture and cleaning out our atelier and terrace - not very pleasant tasks! Sam is very knowledgeable, flexible and we enjoyed his company and valued his help - thank you, Sam! We hope our paths cross again. Good luck with your onward travels.

We were very pleased to host Samantha for a week at our cottage in northern Croatia. It soon became apparent that Sam enjoys working outdoors and is very knowledgeable about plants and gardening in general. It was great that I could trust her to make practical and sensible decisions with regard to garden design, transplanting and general autumn garden care. She focussed enthusiastically on her gardening project, despite the unusually cold and wet weather, and a lot was achieved during her week with us. I am very pleased with the result and would definitely welcome her back, any time. Good luck with your onward travels, Sam - we enjoyed your company!

I stayed at Monica's house for four long months, and it was a very pleasant experience. I experienced new things there, such as gardening, planting trees, mowing the grass. but also i was helping in little tasks as cleaning inside or outside, helping in the compost processes and taking care of the little girl most of the time. They also provide a pleasant environment for everyone—very calm, friendly, and the food is just so incredible. During those four months, I had the opportunity to connect with them more deeply, i really like the way that they respect your space as same as they want theirs, we also share many interesting different views of life and thoughts were i found they like to think deeply as much as i like. It was even more interesting because I was able to understand their unique and peaceful way of life. The little girl is just so charming, i was able to experience many kind of things with her as dancing, singing, picnics outdoor, going to the lake, walk through the forest etc. and I will really miss her very much. I recommend this house to everyone 100% and as a plus my english improced a lot thanks to them so it's a beautiful Canadian experience, both sharing with them and living outdoors and experiencing the dramatic changes in climate.

This was my first workaway experience, which lasted one week, and I had a very pleasant stay at Heloise's place. The house was spacious and clean, within walking distance to everything in the town. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Heloise was clear about what she needed and what she offered in exchange, a truly responsible and discreet person. I enjoyed organizing Azra's birthday party and joining a board games night, even though I didn't have the chance to get to know the neighbors and learn much about their co-housing project during my stay. I recommend staying with Heloise if you're into responsible living and curious to discover new places and cultures

I can highly recommend it to anyone who has a fundamental interest in working in this field! The team is incredibly wonderful and welcoming. Even though the work can be quite challenging at times, I truly cherished my time there. I learned so much from the team and the lpeople on the move. Living together in the house (which, by the way, is very beautiful and in a great location) not only provides a good balance, but also a wonderful sense of community and togetherness. I was given a really warm welcome and everyone looks out for each other. You can read about the ‘typical’ daily routine in the reviews below. In general, however, I had the feeling that every day was different because you always had new encounters and got to know new people. It was incredibly moving to see that it's always made a priority to see people on an individual level and talk to them, rather than just doing ‘anonymous work’. I am extremely grateful to you for your time and your work and will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful exchange with Hurly. He has an amazing amount of experience due to his long standing in traveling the world himself as well as hosting all different kinds of people. The exchange of stories and amount of insight Hurly has is truly inspiring. We went to visit his dad, who is a very lovely soul. He also had great recommendations for my stay here and planned trips and also took me to see some things around the area when he had the time. I can only wish everyone a great host as Hurly was for me!

Long story short, Alois is a legend. He is incredibly kind, generous and cheeky and I will absolutely visit again if I ever am in the region. It was my first work away and I stayed for around 10 days and was very sad to leave. Couldn't recommend more. Thank you Alois and best of luck!!!

It was an absolute pleasure hosting Jack at the campground. Jack picked up the tasks asked of him very quickly and was a natural with the customers. He has a lovely energy, kind open minded and compassionate. Jack also connected well with the community of other work-away's making meals and firm friends. I recommend Jack he is a fantastic human.
