This was my first Workaway experience and I'm so glad it was here. I had an amazing time at The Station. I ended up staying longer than I had planned celebrating the May day bank holiday there with a party. If you stay at the station you will meet lots of welcoming and interesting people!

Arthur est un Workaway qui apporte avec lui une très belle énergie, de l’enthousiasme, des idées, une curiosité d’apprendre et toujours avec le sourire! Il a démontrer une grande capacité d’adaptation et beaucoup d’ouverture. Respectueux et flexible, Arthur crée un environnement harmonieux autour de lui, tant au niveau social que dans les travaux . Bref, c’est un humain très attachant avec beaucoup de sensibilité que l’on quitte avec regret:)

(I, Max, did this exchange without my account buddy Nikolas) The memories of my time at Guido´s place will forever be stored in the deepest core of my heart. He is an exceptional host with the genuine ambition to create meaningful and substantial human connections, which resulted in a profound stay that resonated deeper than any "standard-tourist" experience would ever be able to. His property is an oasis were kindship and open arms are the ruling principles. Tonight, I dreamt about going back to Caiano, which was a dream so nice, that it has to be made true some day.

We really enjoyed staying at the farm with Adrian and Petra and of course all the dogs, horses and cats!🐾 We made unforgettable memories… whether it was the riding in the beautiful forests, doing sleddogs-tours or spending time and cooking with Adrian and Petra. It did take us a few days to get used to the work but especially after the snow was gone, it was much easier to manage😁 We really appreciated the balancing between work and free time. You get some days off so you get the chance to for example walk around Sveg or Lillhärdal or just relax in the Tinyhouse while cuddling Sookie🤩 We’re so thankful for Petra to trust us with the horses and letting us ride basically whenever we felt like it! And thank you Adrian for taking us with you when going out with the dogs, it was a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget☺️ Thank you so much for everything… you two made us feel welcome since the first day and we will always remember the time we spend at your little farm with you and all the awesome animals!

Maybe is with the name, almost the same as of our daughter.. beautiful name. Eleonore have been with as a week , week with good hulp from her and intersant conversation.. you are always welcome here..

Working with Gianni was a an incredible experience. Coming from South Africa and being introduce to Italian culture of a different kind other than my families. It has opened my eyes to the different secrets of being Italian. The different customs, cusine places and people. Gianni helped show us the traditions of the past and through his work brought me a greater appreciation for my heritage. The man himself is dedicated as can be. I often wondered about the magic behind. After a while i saw it was just pure hard work, effort and passion. The surrounding area, the castello itself and all the things in between. It was a pleasure to assist and untill we meet again. Thanks!

Though their stay was brief, this family made an impact in just 4 days. They arrived bearing gifts of fresh strawberries and brought along their musical instruments, including violins. As professional musicians, they treated us and our friends to an unforgettable concert that created a truly magical evening that we'll cherish for years to come. Their daughter connected instantly with our through their shared passion for horses. The girls spent their days together with the horses and formed a natural friendship that was beautiful to witness.

It was a real joy to welcome Sana and Mayra here. Their presence, energy, and dedication resonated beautifully with the spirit of our space, and we are truly grateful for the time we shared together. They offered thoughtful support to our project—sharing valuable ideas to improve our website, helping to refine its structure, and assisting in setting up our retreat offerings on various platforms. Their help with marketing was creative, intentional, and aligned with the heart of our healing work. In addition to their digital contributions, they also cared for the space itself—helping with weeding, raking leaves, and keeping the guesthouse clean and harmonious. We deeply appreciated their commitment, open hearts, and collaborative spirit. We hope our paths will cross again one day. Until then, we wish you both continued growth, creativity, and connection on your journey.

Liz is an amazing person and a great host! I had a wonderful time staying at Mike's and her place. The tasks I did included some gardening, general household tasks and going with Hamish (cutest and most chill dog you will meet) for walks. Liz has a great garden and I would have loved to work more in this beautiful garden paradise but at the time I arrived in April, it was still too cold to do much for outside on the first days. Nevertheless, I had wonderful weeks. Liz and Mike included me in their daily life, sometimes some of her children and grandkids were around which are all very, very kind and friendly. I highly appreciate the workaway experience I had and w would always come back! :)

Un merci du fond du cœur. Jessie, Rick, Thomas et Constance, vous avez été pour moi une vraie famille. Accueillie avec chaleur dès le premier jour, je me suis sentie chez moi. Vos enfants sont des merveilles : Thomas, doux et vif, Constance, forte et adorable. Rick m’a partagé ses secrets de cuisine et de nature, et Jessie, ta gentillesse, ta force et ton sourire m’ont beaucoup touchée. Vous avez été une belle source d’inspiration au quotidien. J’ai adoré jouer avec mon petit Thomas, mettre de la musique, l’accompagner à l’école, découvrir plein de choses sur la Guadeloupe et la culture caribéenne (le lait de coco et le bissap surtout !), parler de nature, de l’Univers… et me laisser inspirer par nos belles conversations. Vivre si près de Paris a rendu cette aventure encore plus belle, et grâce à vous, mon français s’est envolé. Merci pour tout, à très bientôt ! Avec toute mon affection, Helena ❤️🍝🇮🇹

A bit late, but I would love to share my experience here, both Andre and Hector has been great! I have been contacted shortly and got my schedule figured. Taltal is a lovely town, and all students we work with are nice and adorable kids. Hector made delicious meal for us everyday, and I am glad we do have the chance to exchange culture and thoughts. I enjoyed my time and have fun in all activities with students and other volunteers, which will be a great memory in life and I am really glad I stayed in this lovely summer camp, thanks again to Hector and everyone who makes this experience wonderful! See you guys next time :)

We had the pleasure of hosting Pauline and we’re very grateful for the time she spent with us. She quickly became part of the family and brought a kind, gentle energy to our space. Pauline helped with the daily walks of our three dogs, kept the guesthouse clean and welcoming, and offered her support in the garden—helping with weeding, planting, and raking leaves. She shared thoughtful insights from her studies and permaculture knowledge and showed a genuine interest in learning and contributing wherever she could. Thank you, Pauline, for your help, your care, and your positive spirit. Working with Klara was really great and everybody enjoyed her company a lot - We are using the work she did as examples and building on the style. We loved having Laerke and Kristin stay with us. They fitted right into our family. The kids loved them and they were super helpful.

Great, peaceful and atmospheric spot, nicely outside of the Georgian 'tourist circuit'! It was my first workaway and I felt comfortable and relaxed there from the start. The work was interesting and the pace was nice. You can expect regular, hearty meals and a nice mixture of people! Kurt was a great host (and friend) and I hope to visit there again someday! :)

I had a really beautiful time at Wolfgang's finca! The place is amazing inside a big canyon close to a very beautiful town with a nice beach , Puerto de Mogán! We did a lot of different tasks every day like take care the garden, helping with building the new house, also one of my fav to harvest avocados from enormous trees! The facilities are very nice and in general I loved the time that I passed there! Thank you for the good memories!😁😘

Kristin and Steve have built a beautiful life among the mountains and orchards of Peshastin, Washington. I stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every second of it. The work was inherently easy and I was never asked to work more hours than they thought was necessary. Kristin is a criminal optimist and downright kind, loving, and understanding person. Not to mention talented and incredibly smart! Steve is like that cool uncle whose always doing some kind of adventure. Level headed, intelligent, and a carrier of good stories, he's a delight to converse and work with. He even brought me and another workawayer on a raft trip (insane). The food, dinner table conversation and games, spontaneous activities, and welcoming atmosphere make you feel at home immediately. And as a bonus: you have incredible hikes and outdoor recreation right at your doorstep and, my favorite part of all, an adorable 10 year old Zasha (German Shepard) who has a spot on the left side of her belly that, if scratched, forces her leg to kick. Try it out. So much gratitude for these two and their generosity and I cannot wait to see and hear about who else gets this incredible opportunity to stay here.
