We occupy ourselves with enhancing succession and only harvest what we need.

How could you not benefit from the Breton way of living?- simple but honest, we have certainly learnt a better way of living and sharing since moving here and raising our family.

The help required could be anything, so you would have to be flexible and adapt, come with an open mind and motivated spirit.
MAY UPDATE
This month we plan to do a lot of thining ,weeding and a general tidy up of the garden . This would not be physical but requires patients and concentration.
Workawayers give a helping hand two or three hours in the morning and after a long lunch break another couple of hours in the afternoon.
We only cater for people who are flexible with dietary requirements
The help can be physically demanding and sometimes learning new skills is challenging.
We take good care of you but would also appreciate a hand with the daily chores like the dishes, sweeping up etc.
You may need to bring old clothes, strong shoes,and work gloves.

We were in Phil and Helen’s paradise for two weeks.
The work that needs to be done is a little hard (physical) but Phil is always there if you need help or to teach you about the wonder’s of permaculture (which he knows very very well).

My time at Helen and Phil's beautiful place went by very fast. Phil seems very well organised and the tasks in the garden varies. I learned a lot about permaculture and the local community. We spent the evenings listening to music and playing games, it was lovely:)

I had a short stay ( 5 days) due to special circumstances so hard to hard to describe accurately my stay. But there are good feedback, like the one from Cecile , are describing well a typical stay.

Highly intelligent and eager to learn.
His mannerisms and problems with food types, were quickly overcome as he gained in confidence during his stay, becoming willing to try most things.

Place that feels like spirit of Workaway - work & socialization. The work was hard, the food was good, and you were really taught to do things on your own. The longer you stay, the better it gets. There were some barbecues, lakeside dinner, but mostly resting by working & talking.

Lovely hosts -they look after you really well, great farm with lots of permaculture ideas and a nice variety of work to keep it interesting and develop man skills ;) Be careful though, you might get stuck here and not want to leave! No need for blankets with a permanent lap cat and friendly animals :)

Very personable young man, got some great stories to tell, however he can be a little bit workshy, which is a shame, especially when other workawayers end up doing more than their fair share.
