Hi, I'm Vladyslava. I'm 26, originally from south Ukraine, now living in Norway. I have also lived and worked in England for 1.5 years.
I'm currently looking to do some volunteering and gain more practical skills in life. I grew up in a village and as a child was continuosly taught to work with my hands on land and help parents with managing household and looking after animals.
I would like to add on and gain more practical skills so I can manage living in a village on my own. I'm interested in self sufficient style/ off grid living, I think that seeing how other people manage to live this way will inspire me to carry on in this direction.
In terms of activities, I enjoy going for long walks, hiking, taking sauna, cycling. At the same time, I appreciate slowness and some days, it is good to stay indoors and let things calm down.
I'm interested in extending my perception; I like to find alternative ways of living , apart from the well known categories 'school - university - job - marriage - children'...

1. Farmstay experience
I have some skills of gardening - when I was a child I would help out parents take care of vegetables and fruits that we had on our land. From planting to harvesting, I'm familiar with the whole process of maintaining fruits and veggies. Also, I'd feed livestock when needed - chicken, cats, dogs, geese, ducks etc... At different times we had different animals.
2. Language learning
I can help with a language - I reached fluency in English without taking lessons at school so I have an idea how to learn language from practical life.
3. Communication skills
Almost all full time jobs I had was about customer service. I can communicate with people well and I easily establish contact with others.
4. Adaptibility to the environment
I have been around places for the past 3 years so I'm used to adapting to the environment I'm in. I stayed a lot in hostels and in people's houses as a guest or volunteer.
5. Ability to work independently or with others
I like to work on my own with prior given instructions and have space to fulfil a task. Working in a team is also okay if necessary.
