Hi everyone!

My name is Michelle. I am 31 years old and live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In my spare time I love to sew. I use mainly repurposed materials thrifted from second hand shops. I recently started taking dance classes and love doing all things craftsy.

I live with my Partner, Tom. We recently renovated a house (which is a never ending project). I am comfortable with renovation or decorating jobs that don't require heavy lifting. I am a great painter !

Currently I work remotely as a research coordinator at a local university. This position is completely remote. It is my hope to continue is some capacity while I am doing a workaway. I will need to work 17 hours a week virtually.

I babysit twice a week in the afternoons. I get to hang out with three girls ages 7, 9 and 12. I've been looking after these girls for over six years now! It's been such a lovely thing watching them grow over the years. Lastly, I work casually (2 to 3, 24 hour shifts per month) working as a caregiver for three women living with down syndrome. Starting this job has been the highlight of my year so far.

I am looking for an opportunity for 3-4 weeks starting the end of June, first of July. I will be in Barcelona with my partner on vacation from June 13th and hope to stay a bit longer through a work away.
