Hello! I’m Lucinda (I usually go by Lucy).

I’ve been an events manager since 2018 and I’ve always had a deep knowing that I’ve wanted to explore other ways of living and working. In 2024 I was able to work remotely in my home county, Dorset UK. It made me reconnect and appreciate nature more than I ever have before.

In 2025 I moved to Australia, undertook a Vipasanna meditation course the day after I arrived in Sydney, I then volunteered in Sydney, Bellingen, bought a car and made my way up to the Sunshine Coast. I worked and lived there until October last year before taking myself on a longer roadtrip (living in my Honda CRV). I decided I wanted to continue my travel so I sold the car and headed for Asia (travelling to Laos, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand). In early feb I am heading back to Aus until the end of March.

I’m curious and enthusiastic about life and learning and I am keen to get stuck in to volunteering opportunities. As a person, I’m friendly, hardworking, organised, diligent, caring, above all - a quick learner and incredibly open to learning new skills.

I’m a vegetarian, I love travel, yoga (I’m teacher trained), animals, painting and printing, the benefits of meditation, nature, hiking, running, reading.

I have a 417 working holiday visa.
