my Name is Leonie and I am a 25 year old from Germany.
After getting a degree in sports and dance, I've traveled extensively and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Everday is a new adventure ✨

I love that full time travelling expands your knowledge about numerous things, including yourself.
I love meeting myself during challenges and unfamiliarity as well as getting to know other travelers, cultures and different ways of life.
I'm offering my hand or my knowledge around the world in exchange for experience that I couldn't get back home.
I want to learn, get my hands dirty and experience life in all its glory.

I conntected my passion for dancing and teaching kids in my job. I am a certified sports, dance and gymnastics teacher and i have a lot of experience in teaching all sorts of movement with every age. I've worked as a movement teacher in a kindergarten, primary schools and a lot of different sport clubs.

Back home I'm also working in germanys biggest hostel (called "the tent" in Munich -> check it out) and I love to keep the travel vibe whilst being at home.

My mother runs a holiday apartment complex for about 15 years now and I had to help with the tourists, cleaning( not my favorit as teenager but did every saturday for a couple of years), etc so i have alot experience in that area.
During the summertime I was working at a local bar in munich and got to learn to stay calm during a stressfull periods of my shift, how to handle rude customers, mixing drinks, calcuting quickly in my head and handling money in general. I was also working for a little while in a classic bavarian restaurant so I have alot of experience with customer sevice of all kinds.

I grew up on the countryside of bavaria so I am experienced in gardening, weeding, wood chopping, animal care and everything that gets your hands dirty and face sweaty.

As I mentioned before, I have alot of experience with kids and I love to work with children. I can keep them entertained and teach them all kinds of physical activitity.

Ive done 3 workaways so far.
- I was teaching yoga in stunning hostel in the jungle of panama
- I got learn more about hostellife in Costa Rica. My main tasks where taking care of the guests, general maintenance, garden work and some other labouring things.
- lastly i was housekeeping in Los Angeles for 3 months
All of them have been amazing experiences and ive done plenty other jobs while being on the road.

For 6 months ive lived in my car and travelled through canada.
I had numerous random jobs during that time.
For example i worked in a cherry orchard, as a baby- and petsitter, as a housekeeper cleaning guestsuites, as a 'declutterer' and organizer for a couple who needed some help moving and as a salesperson in a dispensary,

Love the spontaneity and randomness that comes with travelling and the chance to constantly grow, gain new experiences and insights into things you'd never do unless your backpacking.

I am very creativ and need some form of art to let my creativity flow. Dancing and creating your own choreography lives of creativity but Im also a big fan of drawing. I love doing mandalas and they are pretty good, if I may say so myself :D
I also know how to do some macramé
and my new hobby is photography and videography
Im just getting into it and don't much experience yet, but im definitely seeing myself traveling as a filmmaker eventually. Love the creativity that goes into videography, I like project-working and catching a stunning scene. Who knows, maybe this will be my fulltime job eventually? Im mid twenties, so I'll figure out it by trying a thousend different things and failing at half of them.

I am a big fan of getting to know myself via mediation, shadow work, breathing exercises, etc.
I always seek different healing modalities or ceremonies when I feel like it's needed or the opportunity arises. I've done plenty, but would love to expand my knowledge and experiences about inner healing, self development, spirituality.
There is always room for improving and I've just scratched the surface of all the beautiful and eye-opening things you can do for your self.

Ive been a vegetarian for most of my life and trying to eat as vegan as possible and for me it is very important to live and travel as eco friendly as possible!

Im a big animal fan! Would love to work with all sorts of animals. Doesnt matter if they are domestic, farmanimals or the wildlife ( honestly Im a lil scared of spiders and creepy crawlys, but since Im gonna be in their enviroment, thats a price i have to pay and I am fine with that.)

I am pursuing a plantbased, minimalistic and low waste lifestyle and want to work with people who have similar values.

I am always open to learn more about these topics as well as Ayurveda, permaculture and holistic health.
