Hi! I’m Evie :) I’m an outgoing and open minded person who loves making new friends, learning new skills and discovering how others live and see the world. I’ve always been super passionate about reading and writing, which is why I studied English Literature and Journalism at university, and why I find so much joy in teaching and creating exciting content.
The idea of inspiring children to share my passion for english is something I’ve always wanted to do. I really believe that the power of language brings people closer together, and I’m eager to share my knowledge in a fun way!
My experience in content writing has taught me how to adapt to different audiences, and my background in literature helps me bring creativity to everything I do.

I know I will be a good fit for your project as I have a strong passion and understanding of the english language (speaking, writing and reading), great communication skills and a patient nature.
I hold a first class degree in English Literature in Journalism, in which I created a magazine, hosted presentations, wrote essays, articles, and press releases. All while studying alongside my amazing peers.
I also worked as a junior digital marketing executive for just over a year before I came out to Asia. I wrote content, predominantly blog posts, which were mainly focussed on travel and culture. This role also trained me in SEO, so I am proficient at writing with this in mind.
During university, I volunteered at a PR agency, where I interviewed theatre cast members and I also wrote for the student newspaper.
I have previous experience working with children too. I volunteered in a primary school (aged 4-11) for three weeks during sixth form, and I also guided younger students with their reading and comprehension after school hours. This is how I found out I love working with the younger generation!

I love music! I always go to music festivals, I have an extensive playlist and I love to sing - so karaoke is my dream home true…
Fashion is a huge passion of mine and I love to express myself through my clothes.
I am a keen gym goer at home (although since I have been travelling this hobby has taken a bit of a back seat!) and I am always eager to join in with group sports :)
I also love playing card games and have plenty of them to teach.
