  We are a family of 4, living in a small village just outside Emmen in Drenthe at the German border. We are surrounded by nature and history.
  My husband works in child daycare and I am a stay at home mom due to illness. We have 2 kids of 16 and 11 yrs old, two cats and a dog. We love meeting new people to experience diversity for our children and ourselves. We are an open an spontaneous household, where a lot always stays undone due to my illness and busy schedules, so we can always use help around the house, in the large garden and on diy-projects. I really love to cook, but since it takes up a lot of my energy, I would very much appreciate your help with that. We are so-called flexi-tarians, trying to reduce our meat-intake :).
  
  I am fluent in Dutch (native) and English and also speak French and German quite well. We would love to show you around the neighborhood and provide tips on places to visit. Drenthe is the most beautiful province of our country with nature at our doorstep and quiet country-life.
  
  We are spiritually inclined (pagan), and we welcome all faiths and cultures to experience and learn from each other.

  We are a typically Dutch family, with an open outlook on life and great language skills. You will find a warm and knowledgeable family. We live in rural Drenthe but are originally from the central urban area. The area we live in is steeped in history and very near large cities like Groningen. There's forest, little villages, farmland and wildlife.

  Alojamiento

  You will be staying in our on-terrain caravan, which sleeps 4 but is comfortable for 2. You will be using the same bathroom and shower as us. There is a kitchen, fridge, a kettle, and heating. We will do our best to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

  We live in a detached house in a small rural village. The forest and historical sites are close by, as well as public transport and cities as Emmen, Groningen and Zwolle. We are about 2-3 hours from Amsterdam, depending on your mode of transport.
