I am a passionate language teacher and a “polyglot in the making”, currently fluent in five languages and determined to master seven before turning 30.

My love for languages is matched only by my curiosity for different cultures and my desire to travel the world. I believe that learning a language is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but about connecting with people and understanding their way of thinking through how they speak.

I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Medicine, which enables me to explain complex concepts in simple terms and enriches my understanding of learning’s neurobiology, as well as providing me with a scientific approach to cognitive processes, memory, and brain functions.

In addition to languages, I have many interests: I read about 30 books each year, have been practicing yoga almost daily for the past 4 years, and in 2018, after 10 years of classical ballet, I began learning bachata, salsa, kizomba, cumbia and merengue. I’m deeply passionate about art, history and politics, exploring how these fields shape our cultures and societies. I'm also a Mezcal enthusiast (though I drink alcohol rarely).

I'm always excited to meet new people, learn from diverse experiences, and share my passions. I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and contributing to meaningful projects around the world!

I am a passionate language teacher and a "polyglot in the making." I am currently fluent in five languages: Italian (native), English and Spanish (C1), and French and German (B2). I’m have a beginner-intermediate level in Mandarin Chinese (HSK3) and determined to master seven languages before turning 30. I graduated from a language-oriented high school with top honors, which laid the foundation for my language expertise. In addition to my academic background, I have practical teaching experience. I’ve worked as • an Italian Language Teacher for non-native students in Italy and in México, and • as an English Language Teacher and Tutor for Italian and Mexican students. I feel confident teaching Italian, English, Spanish, and French. My goal is to combine my passion for languages and teaching with my love for traveling the world. I’m eager to engage in projects that allow me to share my language skills and educational background while immersing myself in different cultures. This is the type of project I’m primarily seeking on Workaway—one that allows me to teach, learn, and explore new places, all while contributing to meaningful projects that help communities and individuals grow.

- ADAPTABILITY: I’ve traveled extensively and lived in different countries (so far, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, México and Costa Rica), immersing myself in diverse cultures. These experiences have helped me become highly adaptable to new environments, perspectives, and ways of working.

- INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION: I’ve taught students of diverse backgrounds in Italy and Mexico, adapting lessons to foster inclusion and connection. As a hotel receptionist in Costa Rica, I engaged daily with guests from around the world, honing my ability to communicate across cultures with warmth and clarity. I’ve also worked as an MD in a Clinic for Foreigners. These experiences deepened my empathy and skill for bridging gaps through language and shared understanding.

- CREATIVITY: I enjoy activities like drawing and creating visual content. Designing flashcards, inventing metaphors, or crafting role-play scenarios, I enjoy finding engaging ways to simplify complex concepts. I use games, props, drawings, and interactive activities to provide comprehensible input and I help the students (both children and adults) practice speaking in realistic, low-pressure settings.

- QUICK PROBLEM SOLVING: I am extremely quick at resolving situations in the most straightforward and effective way. Teachers, classmates, and supervisors have always highlighted this ability of mine, often turning to me for help in challenging situations.

- PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION: I am highly organized and detail-oriented, which enables me to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Whether it’s planning courses or organizing schedules, I take a methodical approach to ensure everything runs smoothly. I’m skilled at balancing long-term projects with daily responsibilities, while maintaining a clear sense of priorities.

- USE OF TECHNOLOGY: I’m proficient in a variety of digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, ChatGPT, Gemini and DeepSeek. I use these tools to streamline tasks, enhance my teaching, and create professional content.

I am a courageous person who, despite having a degree in Medicine, realized that it wasn’t making me happy. So I decided to change my life!
I set aside the expectations I had for myself, as well as those of my family and society, to follow my dreams and my desire to travel the world and learn as many languages as possible.
Workaway is, for now, the way that allows me to realize this dream.
I am excited to start this journey, equipped with daily smiles and tons of positive energy!
