Descripción
We are an retired couple; Kyle as an Officer from the Canadian Military and Diana as a teacher in Nutrition and elementary French. We enjoy an active, physical lifestyle as well as travelling with purpose. We are looking very forward to cycling the Vallée de la Loire and Haut-Modoc region while there.
Having raised five children and having moved frequently (nationally/internationally), we do not shy away from work challenges. We work best as a couple and can readily adapt to most environments. We have travelled extensively in Europe with children, but are now eager to explore together various cultures in depth . We want to apply existing skills and acquire new ones in various fields. At the end of a hard day's work we always enjoy a convivial atmosphere! Hope to see you soon.

Kyle:
Organization and deductive skills as well as computer skills gained from experience as a senior military officer.
General maintenance and building/construction skills associated with with homes including; framing, landscaping and gardening through the ownership of multiple houses. The pictures reflect some of his landscaping and carpentry.
Diana:
elementary teacher by profession, with an education in Nutrition Science
mother of 5 adult children
General house maintenance as well as cooking skills
General gardening/landscaping labour
Good spirit and teamwork ability

We are very good at taking direction and following a task through to the end to the best of our ability/skill set. Please see some of our work in pictures below. We have done all the internal work in the studio and all the stone work/steps by hand except for major retaining walls.

We feel very enriched after spending time with Jocelyne and Jean- Claude. We unfortunately spent only one week with them but what a cultural experience and education which… read more
Maria and Uxio were incredible, incredible hosts- it's not possible to describe their wonderful personalities in a limited space:)
And the 3 children were so patient & so very good with an older couple in their space!
