Florian was an easy work away to have around , really gentle and respectful in his manner. He helped us in many ways , in the garden , with our dog , building bits , playing with our daughter and general housework. We would highly recommend him to any future host

I had a wonderful time with Eilis and Fergal who put immense trust in me from the first day I arrived. I stayed with them for a month and for this to be my first Workaway experience, it couldn‘t have been much better.

… read more anyone with an open mind and attitude. The work I did included gardening work, starting to build a woodshed, playing with the girls, walking Babou and cleaning and tidying. In the month I stayed here, I was part of quite a lot of projects and it‘s very satisfying to see what kind of mark I left here.
Aramae and Sofia Rose are two really confident and adventurous girls and I‘m really happy that I got to join them for a little stage of their journey. Babou is a super cute dog who will accept you as a family member in exchange for bum scratches ;)
In my free time I used the bike a lot and went to places such as Youghal, Whiting Bay, Ferrypoint, Ardmore, Temple Michael and a closeby cafe called the Garden Kitchen Cafe which has excellent cakes.
On the weekends I went to Waterford and twice to Cork which I really loved.
If you don‘t mind gardening work and being around young children, then I would really recommend staying here and experience this unique housing setup for yourself! :)

For my first Workaway experience, I was fortunate enough to spend 5 weeks with Eilis, Fergal, Aramae, Sophia, and Babou. In a word, I loved it. From the moment I arrived, they quickly welcomed me as a member of their family, trusting me and sharing their daily life with me.

I really enjoyed the time spent with Aramae and Sophia, whether it was playing games (Lego, pretend play, etc.), reading, or simply chatting. Babou, their adorable dog, was also an integral part of these happy moments.
The tasks were varied and interesting, ranging from gardening to helping with household chores, and even some DIY projects. Eilis and Fergal were always open to suggestions and made sure that I felt useful and valued in what I was doing.
In addition to the work, I was able to enjoy many activities outside of working hours. Whether it was nature walks, sports with Fergal, family outings, or even amazing pétanque games with the villagers, every moment spent with them left me with wonderful memories.
I highly recommend Eilis, Fergal, and their family to anyone looking for a rewarding, human, and full-of-discoveries Workaway experience. Thank you again for everything, and I hope our paths cross again one day!
