  Hello, we have lived in France since summer 2024, in the very south, but are originally from Germany. We bought an old property that still has a lot of indoor and outdoor projects to do. We have professional craftsmen on hand for the rough work, but there are still enough challenges to be done on the side. Would you like to get involved?   Hallo, wir wohnen seit Sommer 2024 in Frankreich, ganz im Süden, kommen aber ursprünglich aus Deutschland. Wir haben ein altes Anwesen gekauft, bei dem es immer noch viel indoor wie outdoor zu gestalten gibt. für die groben Arbeiten haben wir professionelle Handwerker am Start, aber es bleiben genügend Herausforderungen nebenbei zu tun.   We are a cosmopolitan family with a wide range of interests. We love eating delicious food and having fun. We also enjoy making music and singing. We love playing board games and cards. We live in close contact with our animals and enjoy life. You can also discuss spiritual and intellectual topics with us. Important topics for us are: communication, freedom, personal responsibility and trust. We speak German, English and French. Martina's passion is preparing delicious meals, baking bread herself, making herbal tinctures, collecting mushrooms, etc.
  
  Wir sind eine weltoffene und vielseitig interessierte Familie. Wir lieben es lecker zu essen und Spaß zu haben. Gerne musizieren und singen wir auch. Wir spielen sehr gerne Brettspiele und Karten. Wir leben in engem Kontakt mit unseren Tieren und genießen das Leben. Mit uns kann man auch über spirituelle und geistige Themen diskutieren. Wichtige Themen für uns sind: Kommunikation, Freiheit, Selbstverantwortung und Vertrauen. Wir sprechen deutsch, englisch und französisch. Martinas Passion ist es, leckere Mahlzeiten zubereiten, Brot selber backen, Kräutertinkturen herstellen, Pilze sammeln usw.

  There's a lot to do outside at the moment: weeding, tending hedges, clearing paths, etc. But there are also old cupboards waiting for a makeover and many other DIY projects.
  
  Im Moment ist viel im Außenbereich zu tun: Unkraut jäten, Hecken bearbeiten und Wege säubern, usw. Es gibt aber auch alte Schränke, die auf ein neues Outfit warten und viele andere DIY Projekte.

  Alojamiento

  We provide a private room with a private bathroom and toilet. The rooms are accessible via a private entrance. Meals are prepared and eaten together in the shared kitchen. There's always plenty of time for conversation and sharing.
  
  Wir stellen ein eigenes Zimmer zur Verfügung mit eigenem Bad und Toilette. Die Zimmer sind durch einen eigenen Eingang erreichbar.
  In der gemeinsamen Küche werden die Mahlzeiten zubereitet und gemeinsam gegessen. Da ist auch immer viel Zeit für Gespräche und Austausch.

  We live in the countryside on a small hill. It's a 3-minute drive to Mirepoix, a charming little town with lots of cafes and shops. Other towns in the area are Castelnaudary (20 minutes), Carcassonne (40 minutes). You can go hiking (chemin de pezegado, the GR7 Way of St. James passes by us), cycling, exploring the land of the Qataris, visiting hot springs, going to the Pyrenees... We are a smoke-free household with animals. There are no special rules, except for the following motto: Do not do to others what you do not want done to you!
  
  Wir leben auf dem Land auf einem kleinen Hügel. In 3 Autominuten erreichen wir Mirepoix, ein entzückendes Städtchen mit vielen Cafes und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Weitere Städte in der Umgebung sind Castelnaudary (20min), Carcassonne (40min). Man kann wandern (chemin de pezegado, der Jakobsweg GR7 streift uns), Fahrradfahren, das Land der Katarrer erkunden, heiße Quellen besuchen, in die Pyrenäen wandern gehen...
  Wir sind ein rauchfreier Haushalt mit Tieren. Regeln gibt es keine speziellen, außer folgender Leitsatz:
  Was du nicht willst, was man dir tu, das füg auch keinem andern zu!
