Beautiful stone farmhouse in the countryside in Gers, France
I am an artist who recently moved to a former Armagnac farm in Gascogne. Most of the house is restored but there are still parts of the farm to paint and update - I'm looking for help with planting flowers, painting the shutters, and helping to create a studio space in the barn for 16mm and Super 8 film editing and projection. Once it's completed, the studio will be the center of a small non-profit filmmakers collective. If you’re interested please specify what experience and skills you have, and what other jobs you have done. It’s a non-smoking house, pesca-vegetarian and I am fully vaccinated.

I'm a fluent French and English speaker and also speak Italian and some Spanish and am glad to help if you want to work on these languages – I'm happy to include people in film workshops and projections of films in the studio. You can also join in daily chi gong practice if interested. The farm is about 1 kilometer from a small lively village and there are several other beautiful villages nearby with street markets, galleries, festivals and music.

You will have access to the swimming pool and can easily explore festivals, markets, and organic farms and vineyards in the surrounding villages in Gers. There are many biking and hiking trails nearby, including the St Jacques de Compostelle.
