After 30 years of hard work patience and determination building our own tranquil Haven, the results are sublime .
Set in six hectares of forest garden with large ponds and streams, calm and undisturbed by any of the outside world,it is a magnet for wildlife.
We occupy ourselves with enhancing natural succession and only harvest what we need.
Come and be part of this simple understanding of the ecosystem that we are a small portion of.
This would suit someone who is fit and healthy with lots of energy.
Good luck and have a great workaway experience

How could you not benefit from the Breton way of living?- simple but honest, we have certainly learnt a better way of living and sharing since moving here and raising our family.

Really glad to have met Dan, he's highly intelligent but self-depracating with it, has a natural ability to pick up things quickly and work thoroughly. An absolute pleasure to live with and is interested in everyone and everything. He, sadly, only stayed a week but made a huge impression on us all.
Still not too sure why he picked us but he left us a 3D picture of the Chicago skyline which just shows his thoughtful side.
We both loved her to bits!

Very serious worker more than willing to give that extra time to see a job finished.
The best washer upper in the world - neat and tidy, pleasant to live with.
Maybe not the life and soul of the party but well travelled and enjoys a good conversation.
Would be very pleased to see him again.
Highly intelligent and eager to learn.
His mannerisms and problems with food types, were quickly overcome as he gained in confidence during his stay, becoming willing to try most things.
An enthusiastic worker, he really was a joy to host - so much so that we were glad to see him and a friend come back for a weekend.
She definitely preferred a few days childminding to weeding in the pond, but tried lots of new expériences.
She has a knack for getting to know people easily, because she listens and asks about people.
Hope her students and family appreciate her as much as we did.
She's patient, generous and appreciative - a pleasure to have met.
Good luck in your studies!!!
Hope the rest of their trip goes more smoothly
