Hi, we are Camila and Christian, we have a hostel in BA for 14 years now and we really love it. We are a warm hostel, small, staffed mostly by it's owners. We are known for the good vibes with guests and the warmth of the staff. We are located in an old building in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo.
Hola! Somos Camila y Christian, hace 14 años que tenemos un hostel en Buenos Aires y amamos nuestro trabajo. Somos un hostel cálido, pequeño, atendido mayormente por sus dueños. Nos destacamos por la buena onda con los huéspedes y la calidez del staff. Estamos ubicados en un viejo edificio de Buenos Aires en el barrio de San Telmo.

We are looking for 5 hrs / 5 days a week reception and cleaning work in exchange for accommodation (4 bed staff dorm), for no less than one month period. We need regular staff help: The tasks are varied, all take care of everything (cleaning, care of guests, management of online booking sites, etc). We are a very social hostel and it is important that you want to share moments and experiences with people around the world (even when you are not working!). Please, we need at least intermediate Spanish and English!
We have been closed for 2 years cause of the covid and we are reopening ! So we need loving and supporting volunteers to join us in this delicate moment. We are not offering breakfast now but we invite asado in case we do it, you guys have coffee and tea always available and if you want to organice dinners with guests we can figure out so you dont have to pay that, of course.
when we have enough volunteers we ask for only 4 shifts a week and we split the rest of the hours just in case something happen out of reception time.

Estamos buscando intercambio de trabajo por alojamiento por lapsos no inferiores a un mes. Pedimos cinco días de la semana cinco horas de trabajo a cambio de una cama en nuestro dormi de voluntarios (que cuenta con 4 camas). Buscamos integrantes del staff regular: Las tareas son variadas, todos nos encargamos de todo (limpieza, atención de los huéspedes, manejo de las páginas de reserva por internet, etc). Es excluyente la simpatía y las ganas de intercambiar momentos y experiencias con gente de todo el mundo.
Estamos reabriendo en marzo luego de haber estado cerrados dos años por la pandemia. Tenemos ganas de encontrar voluntarios que puedan acompañarnos en este momento de transicion tan importante para nosotros :)

My first experience in America! I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay.
The hostel is a gem in Buenos Aires. Most of the guests/volunteers plan to come back jajaja

I spent more than 2 months working here, the hostel is small and quiet, perfect place to meet new people and hang out with them. The location of the hostel is just perfect, close to main tourist places and transport, pretty safe too.

The hostel is such a cute one and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately I can't say a lot, cause most of the time when I was there it had been closed. But during the time that it has been open the work was more than fair, the breakfast awesome and the manager and the owners great.

This was my first workaway experience.I stayed for a bit more than a month at the hostel,and it was really great!
Chris an Camila were very nice and welcoming and so were Rhys and Marzia.I have great heartwarming memories of my time there:)

David was great, he helped us with an apartment that we needed to paint.
He worked perfectly. He is a nice guy to be with and we totally recomend him.

Cristian and Camila are very friendly persons.

Mathilde y Charles nos ayudaron muchísimo en el hostel. Siempre bien predispuestos y con ganas de trabajar. Han sido de absoluta confianza y colaboraron con todo lo que pudieron. Cualquiera debería estar feliz de recibirlos! :) Nosotros los vamos a extrañar!

Theresa trabajó con nosotros durante varias semanas. Siempre estuvo muy atenta, tuvo muchas ganas de aprender y de trabajar. Fue flexible con sus horarios y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo.
Es muy simpática y fue un placer contar con ella.

Enrica colaborò en el hostel muy bien, muy predispuesta. Es una persona muy simpática y con ganas de trabajar. Estuvo siempre atenta, tuvo flexibilidad con sus horarios y fue de mucha ayuda.
Además cocinó una noche para todos y salió todo riquísimo.

Sarah and Henry are a very nice couple, very honest, excelent presence. Excellent artists, they made an amazing painting of a worldmap on our living wall and another of a city skyline in the patio.

Sam was lovely and great with us and the hostel. She was very fun and easy going.
She was always willing to do shifts at the hostel and replace coworkers if they were busy.
We had a really good time with her!

Fue un placer tener a Loan trabajando con nosotros en el hostel. Es muy responsable, es súper buena onda, trabaja muy bien y le gusta mucho conocer gente nueva y hacer actividades nuevas. La vamos a extrañar muchísimo!! Nos encariñamos mucho. Volvé pronto Loan, eso es tu casa. :)
