  Hi there! I’m Sinead and I live in Bandon, a medium sized town in West Cork, Ireland. We have an eight year old rescue greyhound who has a gentle and friendly nature. She sleeps a lot but enjoys a short walk if it’s not pouring rain! She loves people and likes other dogs, though she is more interested in other greyhounds than other dogs. We also have a 15 year old teenager. Living at home is myself, teen and dog. Our town is in a good location because by bus you can access Cork City in 30 minutes, and other West Cork Towns such as Clonakilty, Dunmanway, Bantry etc. We live in the town up a quiet hill, one could walk to the supermarket in 10-15 minutes.

  We speak English as a first language at home and have Portuguese as a second language. Also previous knowledge of various other languages. If there are local music events happening here during your stay I will try to let you know about them

  I’d like someone kind to look after our greyhound while we are away, she likes a short walk every day although she doesn’t like walking in the rain. She needs feeding in the morning and evening. She likes company of other people a lot and is happy to sleep most of the day.

  We speak English as a first language at home and have Portuguese as a second language. Also previous knowledge of: Irish (Gaelic), Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin. I am very happy to exchange languages of any kind

  Alojamiento

  2 bedroom house, terraced, on a busy hill in the town but close to the countryside. You can cook and use the kitchen and you will have your own double bedroom with en-suite and small balcony.

  One some occasions that we are away our 15 year old teenager will be at home but is very independent, can cook, and doesn’t need child-minding.
  Quite good bus transport from Bandon to other towns. You can reach the bus stop on foot in 10 minutes.
  If you smoke, please do so outside the house as we don’t smoke indoors.

  There is no house wifi, we just use our own phone data so you could do that, or you could work from the local library

  There is parking at the back of the house as it in an estate however only for a small camper van so as not to block the neighbour's parking spaces. Each house has one small space for parking

  I don’t recommend cats, other friendly and preferably calm dogs are welcome, not too excitable as that could set our dog off
