Hello

We are a family of four with a and have a large extended family in the local community so if you would like a taste of New Zealand family life we would love to have you.
We live on a farm growing predominately wheat and maize but we also have some grazing livestock and a poodle.
I run a small shop and design business and have way, way more ideas than time to complete them all so I would love someone to help with the garden and some housework or childcare but we have had many people who love to come and get creative in the shop also...
We are located in beautiful Opiki about 20km from Palmerston North(15-20 minutes).
Opiki is less than 2 hours from Wellington and in close proximity to beaches, walk and cycle ways and many other of New Zealand's exciting recreational areas.

We are happy to pick you up from Palmerston North if you don't have your own transport.

We have a small house on our farm and we are now taming the large gardens on the site. We have hundreds of beautiful specimen camellia and magnolia trees from around the world but they we all overgrown so someone with a passion for gardening, pruning and landscaping would love it here.
We have a wide variety of tasks we would appreciate help with so we have plenty of tasks to excite your passion.
Tasks may also include some babysitting, cooking, cleaning or caring for animals.

We have a lovely warm lined and insulated garage attached to the house that we have set up as a guest room

We loved having Anna staying with us! She was so friendly, worked diligently and joined in with our family life. The kids definitely loved her reading stories and playing with them and I enjoyed her help around the house and at the shop.

It was lovely staying with Sara and her family and I was really happy to be able to help with a lot of different tasks. That included cleaning, gardening, childcare, sewing and even making beautiful flowers out of fabric. If you enjoy sewing and fabrics, this is the place to be!
