English - French Will follow
My name is Benoît. I live in one of the most beautiful corners of Gaspésie, on a 20-acre piece of land right by the sea. The house is surrounded by forest and by the Saint-Laurent River.
This place is always evolving. Right now, I'm working on planting a small orchard with native fruit trees, developing permaculture gardens, and building forest trails. I also have four outdoor dogs — Coucou, Tit-Chat, Pirate-Bandit, and Fée-Fifi — who are funny, affectionate, and full of personality. When I can, I harness them up to help with the work. We have endless trails on the property and in the surrounding forests.
I live here with my partner. Friends and neighbors often drop by and lend a hand, and my daughter Matilde comes to help whenever she can.
I find work much more fun when it’s shared — I laugh easily and love good company. I’m a big reader and slowly building a solid comic book collection. I enjoy making huge bonfires, hosting guests, riding the four-wheeler, painting with oil, eating like a king, fishing from the dock or by canoe, playing with the chainsaw, and having a little drink while working.

Je m’appelle Benoît. J’habite dans un des plus beaux coins de la Gaspésie, sur un terrain de 20 acres en bord de mer. La maison est entourée de forêt et bercée par le vent salin – un endroit idéal pour qui aime la nature et le calme.
Le lieu est en constante évolution. Je travaille actuellement à implanter un verger composé de fruits indigènes, à développer des jardins en permaculture et à aménager des sentiers en forêt. J’ai aussi quatre chiens qui vivent à l’extérieur – Coucou, Ti-Chat, Pirate-Bandit et Fée-Fifi . Ils sont très drôles et attachants. J’essaie, quand c’est possible, de les atteler pour travailler avec eux. Nous avons accès à des sentier à l'infini, sur le terrain et des les forets avoisinante.
Je vis ici avec mon amoureuse Émie. Les amis et les voisins sont souvent de passage, toujours prêts à donner un coup de main. Ma fille Matilde vient aussi aider dès qu’elle le peut.
Je trouve le travail beaucoup plus motivant a plusieurs, j'ai le rire facile . Je suis un grand lecteur, je travail a temps perdu à garnir ma collection de BD. J'aime faire de très gros feu, recevoir, faire du 4 roues , faire de la peinture à l'huile, manger comme un roi, pêcher sur le quai ou en canot , jouer de la ChainSaw, et picoler en travaillant

I will be happy to share my knowledge about permaculture, native plants, wild mushroom foraging, birdwatching, life in the woods, as well as life with dogs and a small pack.
In the summer, the sea is perfect for swimming, the sunsets are spectacular, the lakes are full of fish, and the forest is nourishing.
It is also an opportunity to discover slow living.
I enjoy exchanging political ideas, recipes, music, and books.
The town of Matane is very close, which provides access to services.

Il me fera plaisir de partager mes connaissances sur la permaculture, les plantes indigènes, la cueillette de champignons sauvages, l'ornithologie, la vie dans l'bois, ainsi que la vie avec des chiens et une petite meute.
En été, la mer est parfaite pour la baignade, et les couchers de soleil sont spectaculaires, les lac son poissonneux et la foret nourriciere .
C’est aussi l’occasion de découvrir slow living ,
j'aime échanger, des idées politiques , des recettes, de la musique et des livres.
La ville de Matane est tout près, ce qui permet l'accès aux services.
