Descripción
We are a family of 4 which decided to replace life in Germany with a life in a rural environment in the wonderful Balkans. We decided to work with old autochthonous species of animals, breeds typical for Serbia and this region. Cows, pigs, horses and many more to come. From them, we produce pure organic cheese, ham and sausages, as well as domestic rakija (fruit brandy) from plum trees on our property. Something you should definetly taste, as it's considered as a signature of Serbia. Get your taste buds ready, 'cause we got some delicious products on the menu.
From May, we are starting some bold new projects. Building stables and storehouses, growing our riding school and redecorating.
- We are looking for volunteers to help us with construction. If you have experience in carpentry or bricklaying please reach out to us!
- We are also looking for volunteers passionate about animals to be our stablehands and help look after our beautiful horses.
- Chefs to cook for the household are always very welcome, you will be working with the best local produce.
- We will be painting the interior of the house so we are looking for some hands to help with this.
- Lastly, our lovely flocks of sheep need minding so we are welcoming someone who wants to follow in an ancient profession and be our shepherd.
If you have willing hands and like the sound of our place, we can find a task for you.
In essence we believe in living a life in harmony with nature. Having fresh mountain air and water for our kids to grow healthy and strong. We are enjoying letting our farm flourish and look forward to eventually hosting guests in our little paradise.

In general, we are looking for people that are willing to experience life in rural Serbia and help us with animals, gardening, and building (carpentry mostly). Anyone with a good spirit and a pair of strong hands is more than welcome.

Alojamiento
There are two houses with multiple rooms for volunteers, it will depend on which room/house is available when you arrive. We can accommodate up to 8-10 people (x5 couples - double beds) We will cook and eat all meals together.

We live in a beautiful hilly area in Central Serbia, 10 mins away from Lopatinca river with hidden pools and waterfalls to discover. We have cars and motors which you can use in your free time to explore the area with other volunteers.

Srdjan is a great host, very welcoming and easy going person, he can teach you a lot of stuff about Serbian culture, farm life, maintainace etc
I spent 2 weeks, tried super delicious food and hiked around the mountains.
