Descripción
We are a retired couple living in Central Portugal and have a small holding with several animals, 7 goats, 3 pigs, 2 sheep, geese, turkeys, ducks, chickens, 1 dog cats and peacocks. All our animals are our pets and we interact with them daily which creates a happy and satisfying lifestyle.

Our volunteer would benefit greatly from integrating with our pets and also participate with our small horticultural projects.

Our volunteer must be an animal lover and must be prepared to feed, care and muck out our pets pens. There will be tasks such as minor repairs to their pens.

We have a four bedroom home, 2 up, 2 down. We occupy the upstairs bedroom. Our volunteer would have a single bedroom downstairs in our home, with access to a bathroom with shower and all necessary amenities aswell as access to the lounge and kitchen.
High speed Internet access is freely available.
The room consists of a single bed with ample clothing space and a pellet burner, if required.

Although we are not directly on a bus route, twice daily buses are available close by which will take you to Tomar from where you can travel to moist places in portugal.
