The farm was established in 2011 with a vision of efficient self-sustainability. We are located in the Trebbia Valley, which Ernest Hemingway described as 'the most beautiful valley in the world.' We host events, produce lavender and its derivatives (primarily essential oil), and provide boarding for horses. A few years ago, we also started a permaculture project. Our approach is always eco-friendly, making the most of the resources available on the farm.
This year marks our eleventh anniversary of hosting volunteers.

Here’s the revised version of your text:
Our farm is situated atop a hill, 600 meters above sea level, offering a breathtaking landscape. The nearest village, with shops and bars, is 9 km away, and there is no public transport service connecting our farm to the village. During their free time, helpers can explore the surrounding mountains or walk down to the river for a swim.
To ensure a genuine help exchange experience, we kindly request that helpers commit to a minimum stay of TWO WEEKS.
The common language spoken among helpers and hosts on the farm is English.

2025: we are still building a new house—an eco-friendly structure made of wood and straw bales. more or less the schedule has been and will be this one:
- end of July 2024: Demolition of the old stone house. Done!
- end of July 2024: Collection and storing straw bales for later use. Done!
- August 2024 : Building straw-clay panels to use later as a dry walls. Done!
- September : build the new foundations. Done!
- Mid October 2024: An external company (not us) is constructing the wooden frame up to the roof. (done)
- NOVEMBER 2024: Self-construction of the house begun.
- end of 2024: filling external walls with straw bales (done).
2025:
finishing some corpentery details, building internal walls with the clay panels we made last summer,
clay coating internal walls,
Lime coating external walls,
floors... and everything else.
In addition to house construction, here are the regular tasks:
- Spring: Maintenance of fences and paddocks, and general repairs. Grass cutting and the construction of a new watering system for the garden are also planned. Gardening activities will continue as usual.
- Autumn: Maintenance and firewood collection in preparation for winter, along with various construction projects.
Due to the construction, we will only harvest a small portion of our lavender field this year.
We always welcome artists and musicians.
Please note that this year, we do not have riding horses available.

Accommodation for helpers consists of a room with two (or more) beds, equipped with a fire stove for the colder months.
Helpers typically dine with the hosts, who primarily prepare Italian cuisine. While our diet is mostly vegetarian, we are not strictly vegetarian; however, vegetarians have never encountered issues with our meals. We appreciate a degree of flexibility. Helpers are always encouraged to cook and share their own traditional dishes, which is greatly appreciated.

This is a great place! Roberto and Tiziana are wonderfull hosts, they have a big trust in the volunteers. There is a kitchen, saloon and sleeping room for volunteers so you can cook and eat whenever you feel hungry. Eventhough we ate most of the time together (some pasta), which was delicious and fun. Rejold was clearly in his first experience on workaway. Anyway it was a pleasure having him here. We did a lot of work into the weed and we started to build a new shelter. He even translated our home page site in Japanese.

Long story short, Tiziana and Roberto are wonderful hosts! I really enjoyed my time there while eating exquisite food and talking about travels, future prospects, and interesting projects.

Unfortunately Antoine stayed only 10 days and he was here alone, after a long period where in the farm there was three workawayers. So I was quite exhausted and relaxed. Anyway, we did together many things and we had the opportunity to have some cultural exchange.
