  As part of a language exchange community in Briançon where i spend most the winter every year, we are always looking for help from native speakers willing to join for a few days or weeks or even months, specially in english, german, italian, spanish, mandarin and sometimes even other languages (japanese, russian, polish for example). When i am there i can host up to 2 or 3 people all the time, and when I am travelling, my flat is available for you to stay there (so if i am not there myself when you come, my friend here in Briançon has the key and he will help you, open the apartment, and guide you through the help where you can provide :) as it will depend on when you join and the length of your stay.
  
  If you would like to know my reliability, well I have hosted up to 400 travellers in London through couchsurfing in the past. Such an inspiring way to meet the world and share universal values: sharing / inspiring / learning from each other.
  
  Transport - To access a few options
  Train to Briançon / Coach from Grenoble or Lyon / Train or caoch to Oulx Italy + Blablacar
  
  Leisures - The valley has got a lot to offer. Mountain activities (skiing, hiking, cycling, climbing) . In Briançon there are: swimming pool with sauna hammam, mediatheque, cinema, board game place, ludotheque, danse classes

  I am part of a language community here trying to gather at least once a week (sometimes more) in a cafe to practice languages, and we are always happy to have people from all over the world come and join us :). I am also helping a friend with language learning material and sometimes baby sitting their kids or offering help to other families coming for their kids to practice languages when possible. We will be happy to spend some time with you whenever it's possible to help you getting to know more about french alps culture (hope you like cheese?). Hopefully we can try to provide opportunities for you to practice french too!

  Alojamiento

  I can host you at no cost in my apartment. Food wise it would be on you as rarely I can provide it.
  This is why only 2 or 3 hours a day of services will be requested. If you are looking for a place that provides food, or even pays you, then maybe you can find a better place. If you are happy with this, then this is definitely the right place for you. When we organise meals together with friends you will be more than welcome to join :)

  A good part of the help you can provide us with will be dedicated to children learning languages. We try to organise gatherings for kids to come and play in different languages (sometimes once a week sometimes daily, it depends when you come and what language you speak), and there are also gatherings usually once a week in a bar for 1 hour or 2 to speak languages, but that rarely involves children.
  
  When children are involved, the help we are hoping to find from you is more likely to be playing with them, sometimes going out to the park and play in your language there, or play music, or create things, or even cook together either french meals for you to learn, or meals from your country that you can teach them/us. When joining the community once a week at the bar, your help is basically just a basic language exchange so that you get to know local people from our group and make new friends here. :) This workaway initiative is basically me trying to help them by offering my apartment as a place to stay since not everyone here can host people but I can so I am happy to help you and us all in this win win opportunity.
