  We provide a forever home for rescued farm and domestic animals. We also educate the public about how they can make this world a better place for animals while striving to improve our planet and the health of humankind. At our animal sanctuary, we currently have yaks, pigs, cats, dogs, rabbits, a mini-horse, a donkey, and goats.
  
  Our property is located on the New York side of the Berkshires and close to many popular attractions. We are located on 85 private acres surrounded by land conservancy and an ideal place for people who enjoy the outdoors hiking, skiing, and also close to great museums and attractions such as Kripalu Yoga, Canyon Ranch, and Tanglewood.

  We have been operating since 2010 and we all enjoy the cultural exchange with the many people who visit us from all around the world. We have a variety of people visiting here from guests who stay in the bed and breakfast, local volunteers who help with the animals and the animal sanctuary, and visitors who come to our educational events around health, sustainability, and other benefits of living an animal-friendly lifestyle. Many of the programs we offer currently are the result of ideas from visitors that have helped us throughout the years and we love learning from others about new ways to educate and inspire change.

  We would love help with carpentry, organic gardening, landscaping, trail work, cleaning animal areas, and animal care. We also welcome help from those with experience in marketing, photography, videography, and fundraising.

  We are a vegan bed and breakfast with large and comfortable private rooms. When guest rooms are not available, additional accommodations in a private room will be available. Bathroom is a shared bathroom. All food that is provided or consumed on the property is vegan to align with the mission of our sanctuary and guesthouse of promoting a plant based lifestyle. In addition, we provide vegan food for our workawayers and often eat meals together.

  We welcome those who are interested in helping animals and growing our educational programs on improving public health and our planet. We have a very flexible work schedule and are looking for those with experience in any of the above areas and are able to work independently with minimal supervision. When you reach out, please let us know why you are interested in helping here as well as your experience with any of the desired skills listed above. We also will ask for references to help ensure a good match.
