  Descripción

  We are a hotel located in Arusi - Chocó - Colombian Pacific coast that seeks to facilitate the connection of its visitors with themselves and nature, in a magical environment built under creative and sustainable principles.
  
  For the construction of our spaces we use local materials and labour and integrate ancestral construction elements and techniques with a modern architecture that facilitates the connection of our visitors with nature.
  
  We prioritise regenerative and community-based tourism practices: With your visit, you are contributing to the generation of employment and opportunities in one of the most vulnerable areas of Colombia.
  
  Our work team consists of several people, among them personally cooks who are mothers who are heads of families and who have ancestral knowledge of techniques and use of local ingredients Field guides for the different tours, sea, jungle and river.
  Maintenance staff and various trades of gardening and construction.
  As well as administrative staff.
  The number of staff varies depending on the number of guests and the season. The average number of staff is 8.
  
  Somos un hotel ubicado en Arusi - Chocó -costa pacífica colombiana que busca facilitar la conexión de sus visitantes consigo mismos y la naturaleza, en un ambiente mágico construido bajo principios creativos y sostenibles.
  
  Para la construcción de nuestros espacios usamos materiales y mano de obra local e integramos elementos y técnicas ancestrales de construcción con una arquitectura moderna que facilita la conexión de nuestros visitantes con la naturaleza.
  
  Priorizamos practicas de turismo regenerativo y comunitario: Con tu visita, estas contribuyendo a la generación de empleo y oportunidades en una de las zonas más vulnerables de Colombia.
  
  Nuestro equipo de trabajo consta de varias personas, entre ellos personalmente cocina que son madres cabeza de familia y que poseen saberes ancestrales de técnicas y uso de ingredientes locales
  Guías de campo para los diferentes recorridos, de Mar, selva y rio.
  Personal de Mantenimiento y oficios varios de jardinería y construcción.
  Al igual que personal administrativo.
  Entre todos varia de dependiendo del número de huéspedes y temporada. Siendo un promedio de 8 trabajadores.

  The volunteer will participate in community work such as beach clean-ups, helping to minimise the impact of litter on the coastline.
  Reforestation of coastal areas with native trees.
  Part of your time will be spent teaching your native language to the hotel staff.
  You will enjoy the natural environment, navigating crystal clear rivers that reach the sea, jungles of giant trees, with native fauna such as monkeys, turtles, birds and others.
  You will be able to go out in the boats to watch the whales and their calves that visit us during the time of the volunteer work.
  We would also like to get to know and learn from the volunteer about your country and customs.
  
  La voluntaria participara de labores en la comunidad como limpieza de playa, ayudando a minimizar el impacto de las basuras en las costas.
  Reforestación de zonas costeras con arboles nativos.
  Enseñará en parte de su tiempo su idioma natal a personal del hotel.
  Disfrutara del entorno natural, navegando ríos cristalino que llegan al mar, selvas de arboles gigantes, con fauna nativa como monos, tortugas, aves y otros.
  Podra salir en los botes a mirar las ballenas y su ballenatos que nos visitan en la época de la labor del voluntariado.
  Igualmente deseamos conocer y aprender del voluntario hacerca de su país y costumbres.

  Ayuda

  We are looking for people who are interested in making our project grow. Who enjoy the remote places in a natural environment, surrounded by sea, beach, jungle and a very friendly community, happy to belong to this area of the country.
  To perform a basic administration of the bar and attend to the guests of the hotel.
  And have the willingness to teach 1 or 2 hours in their native language to 1 or 2 people in the hotel.
  The starting date would be from 1 July to 30 September 2025.
  We provide accommodation and full board and lodging.
  
  Andamos buscando personas que les interese hacer crecer nuestro proyecto. Que disfruten de los sitios alejados en un entorno natural,
  Rodeados de mar , playa, selva y una comunidad muy amable, feliz de pertenecer a esta zona del país.
  Que realice una administración básica del Bar y atienda a los huéspedes del hotel.
  Y que tenga la disposición para enseñar 1 o 2 horas su idioma nativo a 1 o 2 personas del hotel.
  La fecha para iniciar seria del 1 de julio al 30 de septiembre del 2025.
