  We are a Swiss family living in the old town of Basel, close to the German and French border. Thierry grew up in the French part of Switzerland and I, Alexandra grew up in Emmental, which is near Bern, we both finished our studies in 2022 and are now working full-time. We have two little girls and we love to spend time with them when exploring Switzerland and the world together as a family. We are a very sporty and adventurous kind of folk. Being host is something we really enjoy and we love to warmly welcome guests at our place. We cannot stand still on weekends, we love to hike ski or visit different museums. We are practicing christian values and integrate them in our daily life.
  
  Your benefits at ours would be that you can babysit a cute little girl in the mornings and enjoy meals with us and can also spend some free time with us if you wish. We would partially come up for transport if you wish and intend to stay longer.
  
  Since we both lived trough various experiences abroad, and really liked it, having a Workawayer can bring further cultures and life experiences into our home and life. We really would like to get to know you better and explore your talents. Our target is that you can feel at home and to improve your talents.

  Since we live in the middle of Basel you will definitely see a lively city with a rich culture. Basel is also called the city of museums. Being close to the French and German boarders, there are many possibilities to visit other countries. Finally, having our families in different part of Switzerland, we would love to present you many other places in Switzerland.
  If you would like, you could learn French, German, English or even Italian.
  Finally, we can teach you to cook typical Swiss dishes.

  Ayuda

  We would like you to be available for us from Monday trough Friday from 9am until 14pm to babysit and to prepare lunch. It can happen that we ask you to do some other housework, but not on a regular basis.

  Alojamiento

  You would live in a room, with a table, chair, bed, wardrobe, a big window. It is next to the bathroom which you would share with us. You will have access to the balcony. Of course you can use the living room as well.
