Hello and welcome to Switzerland!
We are Reto and Johanna, living in beautiful Switzerland with our two cheerful daughters (10 & 8 years old). Our home is warm, lively, family-oriented — and sometimes a little wonderfully chaotic. That’s why we’re excited to welcome a Workawayer who would like to become part of our daily life for a while.
We are mainly looking for help around the house: grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, folding clothes, vacuuming, and general cleaning. You definitely don’t need to be perfect — kindness, independence, and a good sense of humor are much more important to us than perfectly folded t-shirts. 😊
You’ll have your own private room, so there’s always space to recharge and feel at home. We speak both German and English in the house, so you’re welcome to practice either language or simply communicate in whichever feels comfortable for you.
We would love to meet open-minded, easygoing people who enjoy family life, sharing stories, laughing together, and maybe joining us for a spontaneous fondue evening or family adventure now and then.

Hoi und willkommen in der Schweiz!
Wir sind Reto und Johanna und leben mit unseren zwei fröhlichen Töchtern (10 & 8 Jahre alt) in der wunderschönen Schweiz. Unser Zuhause ist lebendig, herzlich und manchmal auch ein bisschen chaotisch – genau deshalb freuen wir uns über Unterstützung im Alltag und darauf, interessante Menschen aus aller Welt kennenzulernen.
Wir suchen jemanden, der uns vor allem im Haushalt unterstützt: einkaufen, kochen, Wäsche waschen und falten, staubsaugen und hier und da beim Putzen helfen. Keine Sorge – du musst kein Profi sein. Uns sind gute Laune, Selbstständigkeit und ein freundlicher Umgang wichtiger als perfekte Falttechniken. 😊
Natürlich bekommst du dein eigenes Zimmer, damit du auch genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten hast. Zuhause sprechen wir Deutsch und Englisch – du kannst also beides üben oder einfach die Sprache wählen, mit der du dich wohlfühlst.
Wir freuen uns auf offene, unkomplizierte Menschen, die Lust haben, Teil unseres Familienalltags zu werden, gemeinsam zu lachen und vielleicht auch mal spontan mit uns ein Käsefondue oder einen kleinen Familienausflug zu geniessen.

The work you'd be doing is the classical nanny / houshold help work. We live in a sub-urban setting.
your task are:

- cook
- buy groceries
- do dishes + clean kitchen
- clean
- do and fold laundry
50%:
play with the kids (inside and/or outside)
get them ready for school
be at home when they are coming home from school
we can talk more about your to-do's in a video call later :)
