    Dear community,

We are currently looking for volunteers (work exchange for food and accommodation in tents) for our retreat and healing center project, that has just started recently. Minimum stay for Volunteers would be one month.

As a volunteer you will help 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. There will be 3 vegan meals a day served and in your free time you can participate in Wim Hof Breathwork and Ice Bath sessions, Yoga, Meditation, Cacao Heart Circles and Singing circles if they are offered at the time of your stay. We are just starting this community and would love to have a community with an atmosphere of mutual care, respect and love.

What is needed most of all right now - sorted by importance and urgency- is :

    1) Handyman/maintenance
Someone that can fix things, is inventive and has a special interest for that, experience/know how on architecture, carpentry and building is a huge plus!

    2) General Assistance
Someone who knows about kitchen logistics and has recipe ideas to inspire our Mexican chef in training, Lorena. The role implies checking on water supply, emptying compost, taking care of the compost, Harvesting fruit from the land and many other tasks to help our retreat center crew.

    3) Someone helping to build/facilitate our vegetable garden(experience with gardening and permaculture is needed).

    4) Volunteers/carpenters/builders that want to help with the construction of new Bamboo cabañas and the Yoga Hall (experience with carpentry is a big advantage but motivation and enthusiasm can be good).

    5) Someone with experience on Social Media Marketing or an affinity with Online Social Networks, experience with crowdfunding is a plus.

    6) A filmphotographer and/or someone with film editing experience (for crowdfunding and social media channels).

The retreat center is being built on a 1300 acres property in the most beautiful Oaxacan Jungle just 2 hours from Mazunte. There are thousands of fruit trees, Cacao trees, clean fresh water sources, a river and the most beautiful views of the jungle mountain surroundings. It feels like garden eden.

Our Vision is to create a space for healing, community and reconnection with nature. In this first phase of our project we will offer a space for guests to deeply connect with nature and retreat isolated in the Oaxacan rain forest. We are planning to live completely off the product of our land, this we are yet to set up.
The land is ideal for individual meditation or/and fasting retreats.

We are planning to have a community of healing practitioners on site to offer a variety of alternative healing modalities like…

Yoga and Meditation (Teacher on sight)
Breathwork and Ice Baths (Facilitator on sight)
    Cacao Ceremonies (Regularly available)
Plant Medicine (Kambo, San Pedro now available)
    Temazcales

    …and more.

For our volunteers we are offering weekly cacao heart circles at the moment, to tune in with each other.

If you feel the calling to live deeply immersed in nature, have a hands-on mentality and would like to contribute to this vision in at least 2 of the listed needs, this might be your place to volunteer.

The project envisions to be a ecological project following permacultural principles. A lot of the building is done with materials the land provides (lots of bamboo).

The land is vegan, non-alcohol/drugs and a no loud music environment. We are located in the area of Pluma Hidalgo, just 2 hours from Mazunte and 1 hour from Huatulco airport (daily connections from Mexico City airport).

We ask volunteers to bring their own tents, if that is not possible we can supply you with a tent and equipment.

For your application please answer the following questions:

What is your intention to offer your support to our beautiful project?
How can you contribute to this project? Do you have special skills and some skills we are looking for?
    What is your spiritual practice?
What is your experience living in conscious communities?

    Thanks for your interest!

    With Love

    Ludus & Marie

You can learn about the cultivation of Cacao and Cafe and learn to build with natural materials like bamboo. Also its a very beautiful farming community living on the land and there is a lot of interest (especially the kids) for learning English. There is very little English spoken in the farming community so excellent preconditions to learn to speak Spanish.
