🏡 Community Mindset (very important)
We are not just looking for people to complete shifts — we are looking for people who actively participate in the life of the hostel.
Even outside of scheduled hours, all volunteers are expected to contribute to keeping the space clean, organized and welcoming.
🌱 Daily contributions may include:
* Watering plants
* Sweeping leaves if needed
* Keeping common areas clean
* Supporting reception during busy moments
If someone is overwhelmed, we help each other.
This is a shared home, not just a workplace.

🧾 RECEPTIONIST
**Requirements:**
- English & Spanish required
- Minimum stay: 1 month (longer preferred)
**Schedule:**
* 3 working days / 4 days off per week
* 7-hour shifts:
- 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Team of 4 volunteers
**Tasks:**
- Guest check-in / support
- Helping with events and community activities
🛠️ Reception Daily Responsibilities
In addition to guest interaction, reception includes helping maintain the daily operations of the hostel:
- Turn on/off the water pump to refill water tanks when needed
- Turn on/off water heaters when necessary
- Run the washing machine when needed
- Hang and collect laundry
- Dry and put away dishes
🧼 Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Check bathrooms and kitchen every 2 hours
- Clean if necessary
- Make sure all common areas are clean, organized and welcoming
🤝 Team Support
Help other team members if they are busy,
Take initiative to keep the hostel running smoothly
👉 We prioritize long-term volunteers (4 weeks or more)

🧘 YOGA TEACHER
**Requirements:**
* Certified yoga teacher
* English required (Spanish is a plus)
* Minimum stay: **1 month+ (longer preferred)**
Task:
* 1-hour class every morning (8:30 / 9:30 AM)

📱 SOCIAL MEDIA / MARKETING
We are looking for someone creative to showcase the hostel’s atmosphere 🌿✨
Main Tasks:
📲 Instagram
* Daily stories (guests, breakfast, activities…)
* Attend activities to create content
* Reply to messages & engage with the community
* 1 collaborative reel from your personal account
📸 Photography
Produce at least **15 high-quality photos**:
* Community (guests, social moments)
* Spaces (common areas, dorms, coworking)
* Food (breakfast, dinners)
