  We run an ecologically regenerative project in an off-grid oasis surrounded by hilly forests of the beautiful Banska Stiavnica region. We are in the early phase of development of a diverse farm and a welcoming space for retreat and education on regenerative lifestyles. We're influenced by holistic design approaches such as permaculture, holistic management, keyline design, silvo-pasturing practices... Currently there are cows, sheep, goats, ducks, geese, hans, rabbits (+ dogs and cats) and gardens.
  
  Current projects: Stone and wood construction, gardens, fencing, animal care, food preparation, setting up water and road infrastructure, cleaning, chopping wood, general maintenance, help with social media to promote regenerative practices as well as processing our oragnic produce (milk, plants, meat, eggs) for our own use.
  
  Internet access and hot shower available (it took us a while to achieve those:).

  The nearest village is Kozelník, accessible by both buses and trains

  Our WORLDVIEW:
  We realise certain fundamental truths: 
  1) Humans don’t stand apart from nature; we’re part of an interconnected whole with complete dependence on the functioning of the planet’s life-supporting processes
  2) Disrupting these life-supporting processes to the point where they can’t regenerate is self-terminating
  3) Human survival (along with many other living beings) lies in us becoming a regenerative rather than destructive agent in the living system.
  4) We become regenerative by applying our creativity through regenerative design principles resulting in a positive and meaningful engagement with life.
  
  OUR VISION:
  We envision a world where people have a deep connection to nature, working, producing and celebrating life in a way that regenerates her.
  
  OUR MISSION:
  1. To engage in healthy, resilient and self-reliant living by acting as an ecologically and socially regenerative, local producer instead of a dependent consumer.
  2. To inspire and empower people to embrace regenerative design thinking in their lives (creating human habitats, food production, economic and social organisation) thereby PROPELLING THE REGENERATIVE (R)EVOLUTION
  
  OUR GOAL:
  Our association runs an ecologically diverse, productive farm based in regenerative design principles combined with a retreat and education centre where communication, networking, collaboration and learning are encouraged.

  Ayuda

  We're setting up an eco-project in a beautiful setting near town Banská Štiavnica. The project is in an early stage and the living standard is basic, though pure, natural and soothing to the soul. The water is from the spring. Solar energy system is modest but is getting improved. Dry toilet in place. There are goats, ducks, geese, a dog and a cat. There will be a bunch of projects this year: water and access works based on a permaculture design, building renovations, camping style toilet and shower facilities... There is also plenty of room for your own creativity, the possibilities are countless for every lover of living in harmony with nature:)

  Alojamiento

  Yurt, caravans, shared room in the house, sleeping spaces in the attic
  
  All food expenses are covered (+ a couple of beers for good measure depending on one's preferences:) Most of the food gets sourced from the local producers and doesn't travel more than 1km from farm to table: above all honey, eggs, milk, cheese, lamb, beef and wild game. Vegetables and carbohydrates are sourced from local shops. (Given we live in a Carpathian climate, regenerative production is most naturally achieved in synergy with animals).

  Check out the beautiful UNESCO-listed town of Banska Stiavnica and its surroundings. You can do a bunch of stuff! There is a lot of history, thermal springs, natural lakes, mountains and cultural events to name a few.

  The internet connection is excellent! When it comes to facilities, it's a work in progress. Suitable for people who don't shy away from simple, natural conditions and can help improving them.
