The Santa Ynez Valley is Wonderful place to live! We make some of the best wines in the world. A 45 minute drive north from Santa Barbara and 20 minutes from the beach. Tourism thrives here with people coming in droves from LA to go wine tasting and to visit the nearby cute towns, including Solvang (the danish capital of America). Celebrities move here, Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch is across the street from my son's school.
I am a law student and former winemaker so I am sure there is a lot we could talk about. I speak Spanish as well and want to learn some German.
I have a guest room and plenty of good food but not enough time to get everything done. I live with my 10 year old son except on every other weekend he is at his mother's house. And my dog Bugsy.
My brother is a photographer. You can visit his website at www. adrianhallauer. com
*The two reviews I have from past guests are from when I lived in my old house. My new house is not as impressive, before it was mansion and now it's a more normal suburban townhouse.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

I am currently applying to law schools but I have my history of learning to share.
As a child growing up on a vineyard and horse farm in the Santa Ynez Valley, my family every year would have travelers from Europe and other parts of the world come and stay with us for weeks or months at a time. I remember this fondly as these were interesting people with personalities and stories different than typical Americans. As a child, my parents owned a horseback riding travel agency that sold horseback equestrian trips around the world so they would take me every year to some new country for an adventure. Therefore, my parents and I are well-traveled people. I have been to at least 50 countries, through Europe, Asia, and South America. Recently, I traveled to Colombia and Vietnam. I've also worked in vineyards and at wineries so I like talking about wine as well as many other things like music, I am learning violin, politics, cooking (I specialize in the local Santa Maria style BBQ, but my girlfriend, who is a novelist, is vegetarian, and my father is a pescatarian, so we eat a wide variety of cuisine), as well as literature and science. At the University of Colorado, while working at the Denver Aquarium, I got my degree in Evolutionary Biology. Life-long learning is a passion, this year I took a nutrition class and I am currently reading books on psychology, organizing, investing and I am studying for law school.Proyectos con niños

I hope to learn from workawayers things that will enrich my life, things like cooking tips and exchanging travel stories. I need help with typical household chores and gardening. I like playing games or learning computer and playing sports like soccer and reading out loud.
I have a nice garden and lawn. I walk and groom my dog. I am repairing my fence. We do all the family life things it takes to keep our house a home. I have lots of books that I need to organizing so I'm looking to learn how to be a librarian. I have lots of belonging in storage that I need to be get rid of, through garage sales, selling online or donating.
My mother's house is nearby and I have to be of help there too. Her and my father are getting on in age and both like my company and help organizing all of their belongings.Idiomas

Uber is usually available, and there is a bus top two blocks a way that can take you to Santa Ynez or Solvang and if I can free up my time then I can be there for you and I can show you around. Popular with the tourists is the winery tasting rooms, the Danish-themed town of Solvang, the other historic towns of the Santa Ynez Valley (Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Los Alamos) the Ostrich Farm, the beaches, hiking, and visiting Santa Barbara. The funny Oscar-winning movie Sideways, with Paul Giamatti, was filmed around here and shows the wine tasting scene of the area.

She was upbeat and fun to be around. She was also so very helpful and enthusiastic to participate in the household in every way. You couldn't ask for a better Workawayer! I hope she will visit again.
Kai is one of the most hospitable people you can ever meet. I was his workawayer (honestly, I was more like his guest) for 2 weeks. He, his father Wolfgang, his boy Harlow and his dog Bugsy have been an important part of my life for those two weeks, and I got a lot of love from them.
