Help Restore an Eco -Off Grid House & Land in the spa town of Lanjaron- Southern Spain

A few years ago we bought our dream off grid house!! We also took on a new business in a near by town and had baby to raise who is now almost 4. We are super busy running our business in a near by town so our dream home still needs a lot of work.
Time isn't something we have had much of and having realized we probably took on a little too much in such a short space of time we are reaching out for others to come and help us with our exciting projects .
The land is truly stunning, set in Las Alpujarras mountain range , the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains at an altitude of 1,500 meters. We have grand plans for this 4 acre property but, to start with we need to restore the house, install water and power systems and manage the land . We love eco design using natural materials such as cob , stone and recycled materials. We welcome skilled and imaginative people to share & help build our dream .

The house is been developed and at times may resemble a building site.
We welcome anyone who can help. If you have experience of building/ eco architecture & techniques/ water systems/off grid power systems /skills that would be amazing and definitely a bonus.
We need help clearing the land, finding water/springs and general building.

Accommodation:
We can provide camping (a tent) and camping equipment.
If you are travelling in your own camper van then you can park your van on the land.
There is a kitchen in the house + basic bathroom. note: there is not a shower - yet!
there are springs on the land and we will provide drinking water. There is a camping shower
There is internet access

* My wife needs help upgrading & rebuilding a web site so we also welcome any volunteers who are web designers

Helpers will stay in a stunningly beautiful mountain location 1,500 meters above sea level with views out over the mountains to the Mediterranean sea where the Atlas mountains of Morocco can be seen on a clear crisp day. Its the place to get away from it all ....
Here is the opportunity to live off grid on the land, close to nature.the property is on the GR7 walking route with many walking trails all around. Perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, also a stunning park up spot for helpers travelling in camper vans. A great project for helpers with an interest in off grid construction, restoration and working on the land. On some of the projects you may be joined by professionals so you will work along side them and should pick up some skills .

Ayuda
We are Looking for help with Building & Construction so Volunteers with experience & skills in this area are very welcome. Help is also needed with managing the land ( 4 acres) such as Landscaping , Gardening and managing water systems. Anyone with knowledge of how to manage and find water would be great as we have Springs on the land and an asequia-water channel we want to make use of. Also anyone with solar skills as we will be installing a solar system. Off Grid and alternative energy/building skills also welcome .Helpers with experience with Eco building are welcome to share skills and inspire us. We are renovating the house so builders, plumbers, eco minded designers, architects, solar electricians, decorators, interior designers and anyone else who wants to help us restore our dream house will be welcome to join our exciting project . Our friend Nick lives on the the land and he is a musician so if you like jamming he will be really happy about that :)

the house and land is directly on the GR7 walking route so there are plenty of walking trails to waterfalls and higher mountain walks . Also a great spot for mountain bikers with challenging and fun bike trails. The house/land is above Lanjaron a stunning Spa town with famous spring waters, great for drinking and bathing in! Lanjaron has a spa where you can bath in the famous Lanjaron healing waters . The house is a 15 min drive or 40 min walk to Lanjaron town with local bars, restaurants, parks and fiestas throughout the year. From Lanjaron you are connected by bus to Granada , Orgiva , Malaga and other Spanish towns and city's.

We have plenty of flat terraces with stunning mountain views where you can park your camper van or caravan. There is fresh lanjaron spring water on the land. The land is a 15 minute drive up the mountain form the town of Lanjaron. Because the house is off grid there is no mains electric although there is a simple solar system you can use to charge phones/laptops etc.
