Hello Workawayers,
My name is Ibu Ria, and I am a mother of three daughters living in the rural area of Karangploso, Malang. For the past seven years, I've dedicated myself to social activism, focusing on the challenges faced by children and teenagers in our community.
Our village faces many pressing issues: a lack of awareness about the importance of education, early marriages that lead to unprepared parents, and teenagers grappling with drug and smoking addictions. We believe that fresh perspectives and diverse experiences are crucial for helping our young people build brighter futures.
Join Us in Making a Difference
As a Workawayer with us, you'll be an integral part of our daily lives. Your tasks will include cooking, shopping, cleaning, and participating in community events. Beyond these activities, we'll take you on adventures around Malang, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in our local culture and beauty.
Our work is divided into two main areas: schools and the village. Each day, we visit different schools to teach English and engage students in our educational campaigns. In the evenings, we work on community projects in the village. We also welcome your skills in social media, web development, or photography to help us expand our reach and impact.
Self-Funding Through Passion and Dedication
Our social activities are supported through our travel business, "Good Holiday Indonesia." While we are committed to this cause, we are also seeking donations to further our programs and extend our reach. Your support would be invaluable in making our initiatives more effective and far-reaching.
Good Village Project: Sowing Hope and Empowerment
Our vision, the "Good Village Project," aims to build critical awareness of the importance of education and positive parenting. Change begins at the grassroots level, and we are committed to making a difference in the villages that are the backbone of our nation.
Empowering Women and Building Community-Based Education
A crucial aspect of our project is empowering women. We want to strengthen their confidence and capabilities so they can become the nurturing, strong mothers their daughters need. We offer community-based education that is both high-quality and affordable, collaborating with local schools to introduce English education and provide free learning spaces for children. Our goal is to ensure that every child in the village has the opportunity to learn and grow.
Initiating Sustainable Village Tourism
In addition to education, we are developing community-based village tourism. By empowering the community, we aim to create sustainable tourism destinations that provide economic benefits to local residents and foster a deeper connection with the broader world.
Towards a Brighter Future
The "Good Village Project" represents hope and hard work. It’s about nurturing the dreams of rural children and inspiring parents to value education. Though this journey is long and challenging, we believe that with your support and collaboration, we can bridge the gap and create a brighter future for all.
Join Us in Realizing Big Dreams
Together, we can make a significant difference. We invite you to join us in the "Good Village Project" and help us turn the dreams of small villages in Indonesia into reality.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to our cause and make a lasting impact on our community.
Warm regards,
