  • Description

I’m an Aussie who’s always had a genuine interest in people, places, and the stories that come with them. Back home I’m a nurse, which suits me because I’ve always been someone who pays attention, listens well, and looks out for others. But outside of work, travel has been a huge part of my life. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring South and Central America, actually most of it, and I’ve made my way through a good amount of North America as well. What I enjoy most about travelling isn’t just ticking countries off a list, but the day-to-day things: chatting with locals, trying foods I’ve never heard of, picking up bits of language, and getting a feel for how people live in different places. It’s those small, human moments that stick with me the most.

I’m someone who’s naturally curious, so I tend to ask questions and pay attention to the details around me. I love hearing people’s perspectives and having conversations that go beyond the surface. There’s something about talking to someone from a totally different background and realising you still have a lot in common that I find really enjoyable.

When I’m not travelling, I’m usually somewhere near the ocean. The beach is one of the few places where I instantly feel at home, and surfing is something that keeps me grounded. It’s simple, it’s physical, and it forces you to be in the moment. I never get tired of it. Music is another big part of my life. I love playing guitar, even if it’s just casually. It’s a good way to unwind, and it’s something that’s stayed consistent no matter where I am in the world.

Overall, I’m pretty easygoing, open-minded, and always up for experiencing something new. I enjoy meeting people, sharing a meal, swapping stories, and seeing what each place has to offer. I’m not chasing perfect moments or dramatic adventures, just honest connections, good company, and the chance to keep learning from the world as I go.

  • More details about your skills

I’m a friendly, reliable, and adaptable person who enjoys getting involved in a wide range of tasks and meeting new people along the way. Back home, I work as a disability support worker — a job I truly love because it allows me to help others, make a positive difference, and keep learning about people every day. It’s also taught me patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, which I bring to everything I do.

I’m not afraid of hard work or new challenges — in fact, I love them. Whether it’s learning a new skill, tackling a physical project, or finding creative solutions to a problem, I enjoy pushing myself and seeing what I’m capable of. I’ve gained experience in general maintenance, gardening, cleaning, hospitality, and basic DIY work, and I’m always eager to learn more.

I take pride in doing things well and bringing positive energy wherever I go. I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I value respect, kindness, and collaboration. Travel and cultural exchange really inspire me — I love discovering new ways of living, sharing stories and food, and learning from the people I meet. Whatever the task, I’m happy to get involved and contribute in a meaningful way.

  • What else ...

Outside of work and travel, I love staying active and trying new things. I enjoy spending time outdoors — hiking, swimming, or just exploring nature and discovering new places. I also really enjoy cooking and sharing meals with others, especially when I get to try local ingredients or learn traditional recipes.

When it comes to downtime, I like playing board games and card games — I’m always up for a friendly challenge! Some of my favourites are Uno, Codenames, and Monopoly, but I’m happy to learn new ones too. I also enjoy music, photography, and reading, and I find a lot of joy in good conversations and laughter with people from all walks of life.

I’m curious by nature and always looking for opportunities to learn something new, whether it’s a practical skill, a language, or just a different way of seeing the world.
