Description

We are Xavier and Petra, a couple who love nature and want to travel. We started our adventure with our van in April 2022 and visited the countries of southern Europe and the Balkans. Since summer 2023 we have continued our journey to Asia, you can see our entire journey and the countries crossed on our website: https://veryvantrip.com/

We travel at a slow pace in order to discover each country crossed but above all to better know its inhabitants and their customs. For this we would like to stop from time to time and be useful.

We are a serious and hardworking couple, knowing how to adapt to new situations. We would like to share our life and travel experience, but also continue to learn from others.

Xavier: 54 years old, married to Petra, 2 children now adults from a first marriage.
To talk about myself, I'm a very good handyman, I do everything because it interests me a lot. I completely redid my house in every area and built our Mercedes sprinter van which is accompanying us on this trip.
I love contact with nature and animals, I am very interested in permaculture and very curious to learn new things in any field. What could be more rewarding than being able to broaden your horizons?
I speak French, Spanish and understand Portuguese and I have some knowledge of English but I would like to learn this language even more because it will be essential for my trip around the world.

Petra: 53 years old, also 2 adult children living in Austria from my first marriage.
I describe myself as a person who likes to lend a hand whenever and wherever it is necessary. Ready to try new things and share my experiences. I enjoy being outside in nature, working in the garden and processing what I harvested. I love animals and I am happy about every moment I can spend with them. I like to contribute my experience in housework as well as my knowledge as a coach of young people. If you need someone for handcraft I am an adaptable and open allrounder with the curiosity to learn and the intention to be useful.
