Description

My name is Alina and I am 19 years old and live in Graz/Austria. Since I'm about to graduate I thought about traveling the world before starting college. I've always wanted to experience farmwork firsthand and meet people from a different country :)

A bit more about my personality, I would describe myself as a bit of an introvert, but with a passion for adventure and learning. Especially when it comes to animals, I would like to spend every day around all kinds of animals :D Normally I pick up things really fast and do my work very carefully!

I spend most of my free time at my local volleyball club, we train at least four times a week - I love every second of it! In the wintertime, we play in a league against other clubs. Besides that, I read quite a lot (I like all genres), bake cakes or muffins for my friends, play with my cat or simply go for a walk along the river next to my house.

Since my interests are widespread, I have a bit of knowledge in a lot of things :D
For example, I know how to create a website, know how to crochet and knit, can play volleyball quite well and finally, I know too many random things, because I love to learn and watch documentaries!

Since it's my first time signing up for a page like this, I don't know what else I should add, but feel free to ask :D

I love learning languages and learning about different cultures. At the moment I'm studying Japanese and Spanish. I'd be able to help someone learn german, because it's my mothertongue. :)

I have been riding since I was 8, but for the last 5 years, I have only ridden western and recreationally. Because of that, I may be a bit rusty when it comes to English riding, but I practice as much as possible before August. Apart from that, I feel confident handling different horses, feeding them, mucking out or tacking them up. Even if I don't ride as my as I used to, I still spare a bit of time to be around horses and I feel safe in all three gaits.


Besides my experience with horses, I owned a 17-year-old cat (her name is Petzi, unfortunately, she passed away on the 30th of May, but I obviously loved her dearly) and often take all the neighborhood dogs for a walk. I do know a bit about dog training, but I'd love to learn more :)

Besides that, I like to do crafty things, such as building my bed, a lamp for my mum or simply crocheting a teddy bear for my little cousin. When there's still time left, I love to bake cakes or spend an afternoon on my balcony reading a book while watching the birds in the nearby feeder.

Other than that, I am willing and eager to learn! :D
