Description
Hi there :)
I am Violette, a cheerful 21-year-old French student who wants to get inspired by amazing places and people while writing my thesis (bonus points if you're an expert about the ways to convince my generation to adopt sustainable diets).
My enthusiasm, humour and perpetual wonder usually follow me wherever I go.
I love life as a whole but came to be especially fond of music (playing the flute and the ukulele), cooking vegetarian dishes for my roommates, my mother's great yoga classes and getting lost in nature. I also like getting involved in big projects that make sense, like building a 2000m2 rooftop garden from scratch, leading 20 young scouts for a year or overseeing a team of students to organize a conference on resilience & self-growth.
Described by friends and family as a happy, easy-going person who loves having in-depth conversations and a good laugh. Described by past employers as learning fast, working hard, delivering quality work and not minding getting my hands dirty.
I have 3 Workaway experiences so far and have travelled and lived in Southeast Asia for 2 years as an expatriate, which was a crazy experience I will be glad to share.
I came back to my native country for my management studies and would love to explore Europe, its stunning landscapes and cities, and learn about permaculture to make me change my mind about entering the 9-5 professional world.

From the very first day she and my daughter Sara got along very well.
Thanks to Violette Sara had wonderful summer holidays
She was always ready to offer her help in house chores as well.
I highly recommend her.
You'll be a part of the family and feel at home right from the start, as this family offers the best in terms of accommodation, Italian food and warmness.

I spent 3 weeks in Enio's wonderful camp, and definitely learnt a lot about living in the forest and about myself.
The work can be quite physical (wood cutting, terrace making, gardening), and it feels GOOD because you know you are making the… read more
Marianne and Kenneth are two hardworking people, whose generosity and authenticity made my stay really enjoyable.

We are very happy with all the help we have received and Violette is always welcome here another time.
Can only recommend others to have Violette as a guest.
