Currently home in Italy, planning a 2 month backpacking trip through Peru and Ecuador or Bolivia, doing volunteering here and there. Don't have lots of plans atm. Travel buddies very well accepted!

Hi there,
I'm Veronica and I'm a travel enthusiast. I've started traveling back in 2016: I worked in New Zealand and Ireland where I've had the chance to meet really great people who inspired me and who I'm still in contact with. I've also travelled to Fiji, Morocco, Iceland, Thailand and to most countries in Europe. World is big though and I feel the itch to go traveling again soon.

For me traveling doesn't mean to tick off some highlights of the visited country, I rather keep it local: immerse myself into the culture, try new tasty food, learn and improve foreign languages and get to know travelers and locals. I do love surfing, horse riding and simply being in the middle of nature. My heart is full as soon as I put my backpack on!

Both traveling and studying gave me the chance to learn English, Spanish and French as well as gaining my confidence in various working fields as childcare, gardening, hospitality and teaching. I'd be glad to know more about permaculture and farming. In the past years I've worked in hospitality, tourism, reception and administration. I'm attending the Interpreting and Translating University in Italy and I'd love to make the most of my time off in August and September to travel and improve my Spanish.
