Hi

I'm a 23 year old guy from Glasgow, Scotland, and I graduated in June from the University of Glasgow with a masters degree in Civil Engineering with Architecture. Instead of going straight into a graduate job I've chosen to take a year out to travel, work and do things that I haven't had time for during university. Since finishing university in June I have been fortunate enough to have travelled in Europe (Spain and France), South-east Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand) and in my beautiful home country of Scotland.

I'm currently travelling in New Zealand, I'm here until mid-March. I had two brilliant workaway experiences in Australia and I'm hoping to do some more along the way in NZ, so I can properly experience places and meet interesting people! A bit more about me: I'm passionate about all things design, art and architecture, I love nature and the outdoors, and specifically enjoy walking, running, cycling and playing tennis. I have always enjoyed designing/making/building things (I suppose this must be why I studied a Civil Engineering with Architecture degree) and so I am definitely interested in manual diy/building work. In recent months I have built a deck at my brothers house and a new fence at my family home. Other things like gardening, cooking, cleaning, painting, babysitting, household improvement jobs etc are also right up my street!
