Hi, I‘m Sophia :))
I‘m a happy-go-lucky girl and would like to think of myself as a pretty creative and a overall happy person. I love nature and beautiful places. I‘m a big reader and writer (just for fun tho, probably not any good) and I love to draw and paint and create. I‘m also really into photography and love to take pictures of everything and anything.

It doesn‘t take much for me to feel comfortable in new places and I love connecting with new people and get to know all their stories.
I‘m more of an introvert but I‘m trying to let go of my comfort zone a little and be more outgoing and open.

I listen to music a lot, my favourite artist right now is Adrianne Lenker but it changes all the time, and my favourite book of all time is „Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe“. My dream job is to become a movie director.

I‘m currently travelling through Australia and trying to make the most out of my year here. I live in Germany, but was born in London and have lived in the Dominican Republik and Switzerland as well. My mother-language is German but I‘m fluent in englisch. I came to Australia to see more of the world and become more responsible. After I return back to Germany I would like to pursue art and design.

While living in Australia I’ve already had two jobs (supermarket & cafe). I like to do new things and even if I don‘t have a lot of experience in certain areas, I am a quick learner and pick up on things quickly.

My background includes valuable experience in both the hospitality and retail sectors, having worked at a cafe and a supermarket. Through these roles, I have honed my customer service skills, adaptability, and work ethic.

I'm not just experienced; I'm also a creative thinker. I can make things look better and come up with new ideas for your place. I'm excited to bring my creative touch into everything that I do.

I‘d also like to say that I‘m adaptable and a fast learner. In the dynamic and fast-paced environments of a cafe and a supermarket, I have learned to handle unexpected situations with composure and flexibility. Even though I had no prior work experience I picked everything up rather quickly and had not problems with the amount of work or the work-pace.

What else ...

I‘ve taken up martial arts (Ju Jutsu) for about 5 years and found a lot of joy in it. I had a great trainer that taught us a lot about empathy, control and our own strength.
I am a cat person but I love all kinds of animals. I‘ve always wanted to try out meditation and yoga but never found the time or patience for it. I want to learn how to surf.
